Awesome
The cylinders were stuck I just hit them and broke them free. I was worried that this would be another price of crap I wasted money on. Bad start good finish. This cuts like no other. Don't want your money on the hand held one's you pull toward you. This cutter is effortless. I'm so happy I found something that didn't cost a million dollars. Highly recommend especially for beginners like myself. I wasted money on two other strap cutters one broke the other was so so. Hope this helps you.

No instructions for setup or use included.
Title is “professional” and misses that mark by not including setup or operation instructions. Professionals optimize tool use and there is no help with that from manufacturer or seller. I do not suggest buying unless you want to use trial and error for a “professional” tool.

Real Aluminum!...... at least. It's almost that cool even.
Meh. Eh..... not useless. But not functional out of the box. I have about an hour or two of reworking and making parts to get this thing to work well. It needs some grinding to flatten it out so it doesnt rock, the blade retainer needs some drilling to make it sit flush with the bottom. The fence needs an extension to prevent the leather from rocking as you pull it all the way through. As it is the fence is too short and as the strip reaches its end it begins to tilt sideways which will result in the cut not being straight at the end, if that makes sense. Once I finish the needed work and modifications it should do what it's supposed to do. Overall, it's better than a ruler and a knife (debatable), worse than a common strip cutter like Tandy offers (certainly). I like the idea of mounting it on a large base or table. For the price, meh........... overall......... you get the idea. Good concept, falls short in many ways. All pieces were included, issues are design and manufacturing. But, these days you can hardly expect to buy anything from the big C and not have to make it better somehow. Or just throw it away. Or return it. This thing just barely passes the margin for keeping it. I suspect this is why I was able to get it "used, like new". I can imagine some of these parts get yanked to make my own down the road and it will be nice to have them on hand when that time comes.

Works well, one you get it set up-- careful not to slice your hand open doing so.
This tool works great in the youtube videos, but in real life, it's not that easy to set up and use. First of all, one of the bolts that is supposed to hold the thing in place was missing from the package. Getting the blade to sit in place and not slide around is not that simple, and the blades are EXTREMELY sharp. Given how hard it is to mount the device on a workbench and get the blade in place it's a surprise that more people don't cut their hands open using it (I did not, but came close a few times).

no instructions included... but it does work... heres how to set up
took me a while to figure out as no instructions are included and kind of fidgety... but install the blade facing you flushed to the ground... . so when you feed the leather... use the rollers to hold it down and push the leather against the guide as you push it forward... kinda fidgety... but it works satisfactory...
