I’m very happy with this purchase. Although I really wanted a beanbag, This is an air bag not a bean bag. If you have dust, mite allergies, this is better than the beanbag.I did not fill my bag all the way with air, so it gives a swishy, feeling like the bean bag. There are smaller air pockets inside that give a seat affect. My grand children love to play with it because when I sit down, they pop up, which is so funny. So probably not put it near any pointed objects either way.Also, you need a pump to fill it up. I used a balloon pump.

This doesn't even accommodate a child sitting in it comfortably, and there is absolutely no way that an adult could find a suitable position. I have no idea how or why a design like this even went into production! While it looks like there is a structured seat, it's an illusion. I had hoped this would be a fun addition to my home office where I hold off-site meetings for my company on occasions. I was trying to some fun seating options for a more progressive start-up feel. This is so uncomfortable that I couldn't even get my cat to use it as a bed. We truly tried everything in terms of inflating/deflating, but ultimately concluded that while it looks inviting there is absolutely no functional use for it. When I finally decided to ditch it I asked approximately 10 people (including 2 kids) if they wanted it and they declined. Total junk. To take it a step further, I put it in my back alley where discarded furniture and other items rarely last an hour before getting snatched up. Twice I saw it disappear and return. Ultimately it went to a landfill. Definitely the worst product I have purchased on Amazon in 2016. Sorry Intex Recreation Corp.- this needs to be redesigned!

This is so comfy. My son bought it for his dorm and whenever I go over I just can’t resist it. If I am not careful I feel I could even fall asleep in it.Not sure how often he fills it but it’s solid.

I wish there was an air pump. It’s nice and big enough for a 170 person

At first, I really liked this chair—it was fun, comfortable, and super easy to inflate. The modern, beanless design looks great in a casual space, and it’s lightweight enough to move around or take on the go. It quickly became a favorite spot for reading or watching TV.However, after just a few uses, it started leaking air and wouldn’t stay fully inflated for long. I’ve had to re-inflate it frequently, which takes away from the convenience and comfort. The material seems durable at first, but the air retention just didn’t hold up over time. Maybe we were to rough with them, we are not overweight people, but we do have a toddler that likes jumping!It’s a fun product and good while it lasts, but I wish it had been more reliable for the long term.

It was OK. I ultimately decided they weren’t worth the effort and threw them away. My experience was they are not air tight either because (a) they had cracks in the seams that caused the air to escape, or (b) even with no cracks/holes it would deflate over time. I recommend them for short term use indoors (or somewhere they won’t be poked).Otherwise they are cute and comfortable. Note that that the fuzzy part is ribbed (like corduroy) and they are not fuzzy on the base. From far away it’s hard to tell the fuzzy part is ribbed. It comes with a patch.Also I paid $25/each. I’ve noticed the price has gone up to $50ish. When I had mine replaced they did a fair exchange so I didn’t pay any additional.I ordered two and one of them was cracked along the seams. I returned it to Amazon and they sent me another. That one turned out to have cracks in the seams too. So I tried to return that one but Amazon told me I needed to take it up with Intex. The one that actually did work slowly deflated so I had to blow it up weekly. I just decided to throw them out entirely cuz neither one suited my needs.

I just bought a new house and needed seating for myself and my daughters. These filled that need and then some. At the price point, I thought it would be a no brainer to have these for the short term until my furniture I ordered arrived. I now see that my girls will be using these long term. The set up was very easy, especially using an electric air pump. It probably took me about 2-3 minutes to set up each (I bought two). As soon as my girls say in them, they decided to just stay there. These chairs are very comfortable and very easy to move around. I definitely would recommend for anyone looking for easy and portable seating.

This chair came in extremely handy. I was on short notice to pick up a chair for a guest I had staying with me for about a week. After reading the other reviews I was a little hesitant about this chair lasting more than a week, however it worked great! That being said, I don't expect the chair to last more than a week but for the price I bought it as a temporary chair only. It is extremely comfortable once it's blown up (I had to do it without a pump, which was a bit exhausting, but that's not the companies fault). It is fairly short, about as tall as a bean bag chair and a bit wider, however it is great for watching movies or playing games.If you are a person with back pain it is actually very comfortable for leaning back into, the air cushion takes a lot of strain off of your back, but I wouldn't recommend getting this chair for a long period of time as it is effectively a balloon. Eventually the air will seep out or a hole will rupture, it's really only a matter of time with these things, so know what you're purchasing before you purchase it.The top of the chair has a very comfortable fabric and I, and my guest were able to sit in it for multiple hours without any trouble. It is also extremely light weight which makes it easy to pack up and store anywhere. If you have a bicycle pump of some sort I could easily see it being deflated and re-inflated for guests in a matter of minutes if you're looking for something quick.
