Epoxy Can these be used to apply oil on wood and epoxy resin products and not scratch?

I do use these to apply oils and oil/wax finishes, they work very well, I like the white colored pads for that. If you first coat of finish has and nubs or dust in it the red (600 grit +- ) works nice to smooth everything out as you apply. I don't think they would be very good for an epoxy resin finish though
