Hozelock Garden Hose Reel 40 m Green/Grey, Auto Reel 40 2595R0000, 1 Supplied

We bought this to replace our old one which had served us well for many years. This reel has a really long hose which reaches to the end of our very long garden but the best bit of all is the way it automatically retracts. The quality is very good, it is easy to use and rewinds easily.

Great hose very easy to retract

This item arrived earlier than expected, and well packed. Can not say a lot only that since this item came on the market this is the third one I have had, Changed as needed longer hose. Would not have another make this one is the best.

Although a little more expensive it is worth the extra money. Looks so tidy on the wall. No tripping over hosepipes anymore. Also easy to fit with good instructions.

I love this hose... makes the job a breeze..

You need a long shafted Philips screwdriver to install the plastic wall bracket. Do not try with anything else as the screwhead will not withstand attempts to screw from an angle. There is a template on the flap of the box. You must have plenty of clearance on each side of the bracket to enable the reel to swing through 180° and you are quite limited with how high on the wall you can position it. They supply only the cheapest nozzle attachment, which turned out to be in the open position, so as soon as the nozzle was attched, with the water on, I got a good soaking. Fortunately it was a very hot day. It is supplied with a flow stop connector at the business end, so normally you can change attachments without having to turn the water off and on again. There is a small notch on the bottom of the wall bracket that will enable you to click on one small nozzle attachment for storage. It's a little awkward to get to and out of sight so you have to do it by feel. As the bracket must be fitted quite low, you would not have space to store, say, a lance attachment for hanging baskets. The hose is quite stretchy so at the further reaches, it's difficult to tell whether it's stretching or feeding from the reel. It's advised to drain and remove the reel from the wall and store it over Winter.

Working well at present - much easier for me with auto rewinding being elderly and I can get it right around my garden with it as I ordered the 40 metre hose . I think it was good value for money. It was rather heavy and had to get help to install on my wall. Overall very happy.

Excellent product, easy to instal. The Auto rewind is brilliant. Very good value for money.
