Q: Working load limit in pounds? what would it be i keep saying kn but i'm pretty sure each one does not hold over a hundred thousand pounds

these parts are meant to hold two containers next to each other. They are not for lifting or dragging containers.. They just simply hole them together, So there really is not WLL on them at all. They are not recommended to be used to lift two containers in one lift. or to drag one behind the other. that is not their intended use

Q: What is the distance between the two containers when using these locks? What gap does this create?

The manual twistlock (SKU: CTL-Manual ) from Mytee Products Co. adds 28 - 30 mm or 1.10 - 1.18 inches to the height of a container stack. I bought four corner castings along with various fittings like the twistlock and some stacker cones to see how they worked and answer spacing questions. Eg. A standard 203 MM double stacking cone keeps a 1 inch horizontal space between adjacent containers while a 258 MM double stacking cone keeps a 3 inch horizontal space between containers.
