So I was just swapping bulbs on my car because I bought it used and have owned it for a couple years now. I found very poor choice in H15 bulbs, but the yellow interested me and a big bonus of being cheap sealed the deal.These lights are definitely yellow. Very very yellow, and not terribly bright. I do not drive in very dark areas often in this car, but the high beams do the job when it's needed. Definitely not as bright as if this was a higher quality headlight but not bad for $20.All in all I'm happy with the change in color and the pleasure of attention grabbing yellow high beam flashes for bad drivers.

Nice bright yellow with the DRL lit up. Dimmer parking lights look more golden when illuminated. High beams are a little dimmer than OEM but do light up the road adequately when used in conjunction with the OEM low beams on a dark road. I prefer the coloring of the Hella and Nokya yellows, but Hella doesn't make an H15, and the Nokya price was ridiculously high when I searched ($70??).I will update a few months down the road to see how they last and if the coloring fades.Update: 2 months of daily driving later, I have no issues. Bulbs are the same color, and haven't faded and no issue with anything deteriorating.Update: Feb 1, 2020 = Still working fine. Kinda wish I had brighter high beams, but don't use then all that often. The yellow doesn't project all that far, but they are highly visible to oncoming traffic.

Awesome lights! I agree with other reviews that say they are not the brightest for as being high beams but they look really good as drl. They're a nice golden yellow almost amber color. Definitely don't look like halogens and they look great around sunset/sunrise when the sky is still a bit dark. When I made this purchase I was a bit nervous because there weren't a lot of pics posted but hopefully mine help others make the decision to purchase these lights. Install was easy on my 15 GTI (well as easy as it can get in GTIs but I have small hands lol). The price? Totally worth giving them a try.

I've had these installed on my Mk6 Sportswagen for a year now, covering about 10k miles, and they are still working just fine. The color when using them as DRL's is very nice, subtle yellowyorangeish. As high beams they work better in inclimate weather than white or blue colored lamps. The broadcast of the yellow light seems less, though I'm still lighting up reflectors a mile away, the reduced glare in fog and snow is what I'm after. Will buy again when these eventually go all Rhonda and Ketut.

Do not buy if you own a VW. I ordered these to replace the stock DRLs on my 2015 VW GTI and only one bulb fit. The other bulb fit in both headlights but the defective bulb would not fit in either due to poor craftsmanship. The three tabs on the bulb must match the three slots in the headlight. However, one bulb had the tabs misaligned on the upper and lower metal housing and they were welded together that way. Poor quality control to sell such a poorly crafted bulb. And amazon made it extremely difficult to return since they want you to print the return label but there is no option to print within the app. And if you select the “Email return label” option, they email you a link that opens up the label within the app again! Extremely frustrating and amazon customer service was completely useless. Save yourself the hassle and avoid these bulbs at all cost!!

Product was as advertised. BUT when I opened the box that they were shipped in they used ABSOLUTELY ZERO PACKAGING MATERIAL. The headlight pack had broke open and the lights were just rattling around in the Amazon box. They didn’t appear to be touched or visually damaged so gave them a try. Installed into my vehicle without issue. One bulb blew 5 mins after installing. Moral of the story the quality of the bulbs are decent BUT THEY HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO PACK A BOX CONTAINING ELECTRONICS. I feel ripped off.

Alot brighter than I expectedNot that yellow on low but high is super yellow and great visibility installed on a mk7 gti a model

Install was quick and easy on my 2016 VW GTI, but these aren't very bright at all. But for $20, I guess you get what you pay for.
