Purchased this to replace a similar fan that had lasted ages. The fan has 3 really good speeds and I don’t actually find the noise to much at all. I sleep with it on at night and doesn’t keep me awake at all which is really good. It’s lightweight and even on the lowest setting it’s very powerful. The remote control feels very cheap but does its job fine. Happy with the fan and price and functionality.

Good remotr control and handy timer features.Feet could be larger to help with stability but that would cause a potential location/ storage issue. Happy with the purchase

My experience of this fan may not be the same for all, so I will begin with what everyone should expect.The fan itself :It's of plastic construction that is firm enough. yes it would pobably break if you fell on it. You can flex it a bit but overall has a sturdy feel. The blades are also plastic. A simple control panel with green LED status indicators allows on/off, 1/2/3 speed setting and sleep timer for 1-7 hrs.I only use speed setting 1 (slowest) as it does get noisy but this still works well when set a distance away.I've only used 12" & 14" fans before and I'm "blown away" by the difference (sorry).Now to the not so good :Mine was undoubtedly a returned item. The box was ripped and it was badly taped up. The bag inside the box had 'finger holes' from someone poking through the bag to rip it open. There was no way any company would let anything leave the factory like that so it was NOT brand new and sealed.The remote control I suspect to be the reason that this fan was returned. It is unusable in it's current state. Please see the attached picture. The battery contacts have been put in the wrong way around on one side, allowing only positive to positive & negative to negative battery placement (impossible).I hope that this is a one-off production error.So yeah, a bad remote but a good fan. You shouldn't be unlucky enough to also get a returned item, but you never know. It's clearly not beyond this seller.I can fix the remote and I wasn't going to wait for a fan in a heatwave, so I made do and didn't return it but the fan itself I AM happy with.My 4 stars is for the fan itself, not my personal package.

The media could not be loaded. Cracking fan, shifts lots of air, it is fairly intrusive noise wise especially when you get past level 1 on the speed setting, the timer is useful and the remote is a godsend although strangely our LG magic remote sometimes does odd things to the fan.Bought it on offer which made it great value, yes its all plastic but in this instance tht isn't actually a bad thing.

I bought this for my bike trainer to keep me from overheating. It does this well, and I am pleased with it. It is so light that it initially feels flimsy, but in fact it is just that it is all made from plastic. The plastic seems pretty tough and rigid, and the light weight and slim design makes it very easy to tuck out of the way. The remote is very useful for adjusting while training, although it needs a clear line of sight between remote and the receiver on the fan - this can sometimes be shielded by the fan body. The wind generated by the fan is significant, although it is pretty noisy on full speed. Not a problem when exercising

Dont be me. I ordered this in the middle of a heatwave, description said 12 inch bladed fan,I thought 12 inch will fit on my desk perfect!No, i'm daft, each blade is 12 inches and i now have a massive fan sat on my floor.On the plus side, when its warm (like it is now at the time of posting) this bad boy keeps the entire room nice and chill.On a serious note, if you actually notice the dimensions and they arent an issue this is one hell of a good indoor fan, so much so that my window blind and office door rock back and forth because of the air flow this fan creates with a window open.

I’ve this for 3 years counting and omg the best light weighted gym fan ever. I’ll always replace should it stop working. The luxury to control it from my bed with a remote is everything

Great fan for indoor cycling, and the remote control is excellent for increasing the fan's intensity from 1 to 3, as one heats up on the bike. My Zwift sessions are now much less plagued with sweat, and the fan hs also eliminated the dreaded c word, chafing.
