I like that this came spiral bound compared to my younger child's (K set was not bound). I think it's awesome that the pens work universally with any of the 'Hot Dots' sets. My kids like the pens and hearing responses immediately. I would have given 5 stars if there were small portable travel cases to keep it all together (*we used a large pencil pouch).

Would recommend a grade level up if child is advanced!

Great product. It always works fine. I'm not sure why people say it gives wrong answers. People always gotta leave a bad review just cause they did something wrong its not the actual product. I've bought three and they are all great.

Purchased for my students needing extra support in foundational reading skills. Highly recommend this product since students and teachers will love the features!

Prefect for third grade if you homeschool or have a child that doesn't like writing but still needs to understand concepts. I wish these came with a teacher's guide so you could teach the material then have them do hot dots for review. I wish there were more for upper elementary because my daughter loves these.

I bought this for a child I adopted for Christmas. She is in the third grade and her family asked for reading assistance items. I remembered having something similar to this when I was a child and I was amazed to find that they still made them. I believe this will be just what the girl needs to help her excel in reading at school. However, I cannot provide actual feedback if it helps or not because I donated anonymously.

Didn't care for the product

Got it for my niece to improve her grammar skills. She enjoys it.
