Delicious Popcorn.

Pops into big, puffy, balls.
We love how this popcorn pops! Pops into big, puffy, balls, that many confectioners use to make caramel popcorn. Great to just eat.

Tasty popcorn, but not mushroom.
Delicious popcorn, but not mushroom popcorn. I ordered this brand after it came highly recommended by friends. We ordered the mushroom variety, the bag we received has no reference to mushroom popcorn, but we decided to try it anyway. It popped well, without a lot of kernels. Normal size popcorn.

The kernels are big and fluffy!
If you love popcorn, you will love this. It is the best popcorn I have ever bought. Put less in the post than you usually do, it fills up fast. I love it.

Know what your doing.
I read the bad reviews usually and nothing much more. For those that can not make it pop to a mushroom state, have your oil at 400 degrees for GOD's sake.I knew about mushroom popcorn for years and the required 400 to make pop correctly. I wanted to make some snacks to go with my coated peanuts so here we go. I decided on this supplier, for the least amount of 1 star reviews.Package was delivered without holes, spillage etc.I read some one else used an air popper thought I would try that first. My air popper is an old one I do mean old, Orville Redenbacher stamped made in America. I let it heat up for a good 2 minutes prior to adding pop corn, presto mushroom kernels. Seeds left un-popped or slightly broke out of a 1/4 cup, less than a dozen. Kernels that did not form a nice mushroom, approx. 10%. With that result I have no problem recommending this, if you don't have the same results, its operator error! I will be trying the oil in sauce pan, and have my oil up to 400 degrees, and do expect even better results than air popping. For those that have issues with hulls if you pop it at the required temp they would have better fractures hence smaller particles. those that think this is dense well duh look at any chart of popcorn characteristics, this is meant to be coated. And with coating usually reheated in the oven drying it out and setting coatings giving a better crispy crunch and less dense. If you want a plain salted light and fluffy this is not a wise choice. you want a coated Carmel, cheese or chocolate coated corn this is it for the coating process, butterfly breaks up use the right corn for the right application please. Sorry about the picture, that's honey/Carmel with a bit of chili powder and I let it go a tad long, don't turn your back! lol. That is my first batch from an air popper. If you can't pop it correctly check your temps and your thermometers accuracy. I didn't even use oil or a thermometer and got it to pop.
