Good face wash
I love this face wash. It has lasted me months and months. It leaves my skin feeling nice and clean and doesn't seem to dry my skin out too much. I also love that it's made with clean ingredients.

This is how natural product should be
I found this a little harsh on my face, so I used it to on my back. I’ve noticed there were several little bumps appeared afterward and it was a very good feeling actually, it made the “dirt” and oil trapped inside the skin resurface. Now I still have some bumps and that’s what natural product suppose to do. It should just make you feel like natural and normal, instead of being perfect. It’s still on the pricey side and I may not repurchase this again.

Beautiful soap
I cannot rave enough about this soap. I’ve seen estheticians denounce using clay as it draws moisture from the face. I use this soap along with many hydrating products so I can’t attest to it drying my face out when I use so many other products. I have suffered from perioral dermatitis (PD) and in my search for relief stumbled upon this cleanser. It spoke to me for its gentleness that claimed not to aggravate PD, the absolute void of plastic packaging, and it being “natural”. I am happy to say that after 6+ months of use, it is my favorite. And yes, 6+ months and I still have PLENTY use left. the bar didn’t seem nearly as big as I expected but it has lasted with daily use. The smell is nice, not overwhelming or bad (to me). I hope someone with PD can find some relief with this soap as well. PSA PERIORAL DERMATITIS: This soap did NOT cure my PD. If you listen and read to the creator of osmia, she suggests way to prevent/help PD. This soap helped by not further aggravating my PD. I also switched my toothpaste to Jason Power Smile because it did not have SLS or Flouride. I also took a small round of antibiotics (once). I do not wear makeup at all. I have always used Dropps laundry detergent which doesn’t contain sulfates. So all things considered, I don’t have any symptoms for more than 6 months now. So, please take that into consideration before putting all your eggs in one basket if you are looking for a cure all. IMO, switching toothpaste made the biggest difference.

Best soap for my perioral dermatitis
I bought this soap for myself and my 10 year old daughter who were suffering from a very painful case of perioral dermatitis. We had been fighting it for about 6 months and had gotten to the point where I couldn't stand the way It looked or felt, it covered my chin, up around the sides and above my mouth, into my nose, and had started under my eyes. Very painful. I read about this soap on a blog after tons of research. It was pricey but I was beyond desperate. So after 4 weeks I can officially say this soap has saved my face. The first probably two weeks my face was so raw and tender I barely did more than wipe it over my face. Now I can actually rub it in and really wash. The smell isn't very strong or offensive. However it did cause my face to seriously burn the first two weeks and I almost quit using it. It does still have a slight burn so I just use it at the very end of my shower and as soon as I get out I put a light layer of raw honey with a q-tip over all the affected areas. This immediately relieves the burn and it gently moisturizes as I feel this soap dries the area out a good bit. I leave the honey on as long as I can and strongly recommend this for relief from the itch and burn of perioral dermatitis. I also stopped using anything that contained floride and sodium lural sulfates. I used nothing and I mean nothing on my faces besides this soap and raw honey. Like I said it's still not 100% but if you can be patient this soap def works and is worth the money I think.

Slow, but steady improvement of perioral dermatitis
When the bar came, it was as small as I had expected, based on other reviews and the picture showing the dimensions. I ordered it because the perioral dermatitis I had suffered from previously had flared up again after couple years of semi decent skin (I had been diagnosed with perioral dermatitis, adult acne, and rosacea). The thing that helped my skin calm down before was azaleic acid cream and cleansing my face with dandruff shampoo using an ultrasonic cleaner. About 5 months ago, about 5 months postpartum and after sketchy use of the azaleic cream, I noticed a couple patches of skin near the sides of my mouth starting to show signs of the perioral dermatitis returning. I tried being more consistent with the cream and saw some improvement, but it didn't go away. Over the course of the next few months, it worsened. Then, a little more than a month ago, it flared into a full fledged perioral dermatitis relapse. I brushed up on my knowledge of the condition. It is usually triggered by steroid cream use (so the person's review who was using steroid cream to treat it was making it worse, not better). It mostly affects women and is believed to be associated with hormone fluctuations. I haven't touched steroid cream in years, but have had hormone changes since having a baby 10 months ago. I also think that the final worsening may have also been related to decreased moisture in the air after our humidifier broke. The solution: typical medical treatment relies heavily on oral antibiotics. Since I am breastfeeding and have been dealing with thrush problems, I really didn't want to go that route. I did pull out my clindamycin (sp?) from before and I continued use of the azaleic acid cream. I switched to a natural toothpaste without fluoride, which some sites say makes pd worse. Because of how flaky my skin had become, I started using coconut oil, but a friend convinced me to switch to a water based gel type moisturizer made by Neutrogena. I already used makeup infrequently, but I had to battle the desire to cover up my hideous skin. Finally, I decided to give Osmia Organics Black Clay soap a try. I only use it once a day and keep it outside the shower, to help maintain it as long as possible. Even treated with oral antibiotics, pd can take awhile to respond to treatment. It takes patience. Happily, the rash has improved, slow and steady. It has been about 3 or 4 weeks since I started use of this soap and I feel like I'm about 65% back to normal and continue to improve. It took 3 months to achieve the same progress with topical medication only last time. I am pleased to make faster progress this time. I took one star off for the ridiculously high price for such a small bar of soap (or even if it were a typical size bar).

Nie wieder lasse ich was anders an mein Gesicht dran!

I liked the clean feeling I had after washing my face with this soap. It was very expensive so i cut in half and only use one half at a time and then it lasted a longer time.

I purchased this product specifically for perioral dermatitis because of the recommendations. I’ve suffered from this for about 9 years, but it has become extremely stubborn the last year. I purchased this very expensive soap in hopes it would help clear it up, as I have tried everything. I have been using it for just over 3 weeks and it has made it substantially worse. So bad it has now spread from around my mouth to around my nose. Doesn’t work for everyone and it is extremely expensive whether you buy it here or directly from the website because of shipping. It’s also a super tiny bar of soap.
