I've had this CBE for about 600 miles and I love it so far. This is my second CBE with a Borla muffler. It has been so much more fun driving around with this exhaust on.PROS:Better throttle responseSlight improvement in MPGAwesome exhaust note (esp. when you start it cold, it growls!)CONS:None so farThe sound is awesome; not too loud until you step on the gas then it gives out this deep, throaty growl unlike what you hear from ricers. There is no cabin drone while you are cruising, you only hear it when you're on the accelerator; 4th and 5th gear each has a distinct hum at certain RPMs which I like. I also added a K&N drop-in filter three days after I had the Borla installed and I added an ECU Stage 1 tune. The sound became a little louder after chipping the car, which I don't mind since this system is not overly loud to begin with. I also like how Borla made the exhaust tips look very much like the stock tips making this CBE stealthy--no none would ever guess you have an aftermarket exhaust until you step on the gas, work the gears and leave them in the dust! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this CBE. It has made driving my daily driver so much more fun that I wish my commute to and from work was longer so I can have more smiles per gallon.Who would I recommend this to? Anyone who wants a great, deep-sounding exhaust system that's not overly loud. If you want loud as in "wake all the neighbors up every time you leave or come home," this system is not for you! This CBE is loud only when it needs to be but otherwise very well-mannered when you're cruising. However, it does let your car "breathe" better and eliminates some of the bogging down at low RPMs. My car's throttle response is great across the entire RPM range but I'm sure the Stage 1 ECU tune has something to do with it as well as the Borla exhaust system.Regarding the slight improvement in gas mileage . . .I think you can easily get 2-4 MPG more with this exhaust but my problem is I have been driving more aggressively since adding the Borla and ECU tune that I have only seen a 1 MPG improvement. Finally, I priced this system everywhere, local shops and Internet, before buying it from Amazon. Don't waste your time, you're not going to find a better price anywhere. Amazon is at least a $100 savings plus free shipping.

Had it installed for about 8 months now on my '12 GLI, love it as much as the first day. Polish the tips once and awhile and it stays looking new! Quick and easy install that fit perfectly. A little drone at highway speeds, however this is one of the loudest deepest exhausts I have heard on the TSI engine.

What a difference. Received earlier than noted and free shipping is definitely nice. Everything was packed securely in the box. Had the exhaust, down pipe and tune installed 2 days ago, all I can say is wow. Car sounds great and performs awesome. 2017 MK6.5 GLI is now pumping out 332hp at the wheel and 326 torque.

as advertised, easy to install(1 hour), increases fuel mileages, nice mellow tone.

Paid the same price as if I bought from other website but the exhaust didn’t come with any clamps that screwed my whole day up. Missed work waiting to get the car. didnt sound as great as advertised not worth the price I wouldn’t buy again

Exactly what I wanted the sound to be. Definitely not too obnoxiously loud but makes a more aggressive deeper growl especially when shifting. Only downside for me is there is a little bit of drone on the highway, but that only starts around 75+mph. For city driving, I love it though.

It's alright. Kind of a low pitch hum than a growl. It kind of accentuates that "small engine" winding sound a Ford Focus or Kia Rio makes. I guess that's more the fault of the engine then the exhaust though.Build quality seems pretty good. Instructions were alright. I'd say 3/5 is a fair rating for this exhaust.
