English Grammar Rules 101: 10 Essential Rules to Improving Your Writing, Speaking and Literature Skills for Students and Beginners

All too often, an author of an English grammar book does not include the very fundamental knowledge and insights of the history and development of the English language in his or her book. Well, that is not the case with this book. I bought this book because the author provided a clear and concise delineation of the history of the language. Moreover, I was surprised by the 4-H’s Rule. This is truly a good book. Praise god!

Too many other grammar books tend to get into the weeds too much. This is good balance to get the most important things.

Excellent book, explain everything from the beginning. I loved.

The author leads you through parts of speech, punctuation, and all the oddities of the English language. This guide is a very concise treatment that is simple and complete. If you want to learn how the English language is structured or brush up, this guide is for you.

Really helped my daughter

I see a typo on the Table of Contents (page 7) regarding rule #3. Seriously, how many other misspellings and/or printing mistakes are in the volume? Even though the word HOMPHONES is correctly spelled a few lines later, I expect a better English language guide.

I found this short overview of the English language and punctuation concise and easy to understand.

Very informative and helpful. I’ve listened to the audio book many times and thought it would be fun to own the book. Easy to read, great examples and the introduction is re-assuring.

This is the first book in a series of three - that's what the title says, and Amazon also invites you to buy the series in one go, which is what I did. However the third book in the "series" - "English Grammar Rules & Mistakes (English Grammar Help Book 3)" - contains the text from the first two books in the series, and nothing else.My advice is NOT to buy this book but to opt for the third in the series.
