Heartwarming
Story of a lost Wolf cub getting lots of helping finding his way home. Rhyming text makes for an enjoyable read. Some beautiful landscape illustrations add to the reading experience. A good introduction to artic animals. Some are familiar, some may be new to kids. If you can forgive the wolves poor parenting, this will make a good bedtime story. The illustrations, especially of the wolf pup are very endearing. The ending, especially the last page is heartfelt and heartwarming.

This book is a must for any little wolf lover. Not only are the pictures great but the story is beautiful with a great message. My 2.5 year old wants us to read it to her several times a day!!!

The importance of kindness in an increasingly small world
This is my daughter's favorite book. It's beautifully written and illustrated. Wilf is a confident cub who loses his way and finds he must rely on creatures different from himself in order to survive and reunite with his family. It is a good book if you are looking to speak to your children about displaced people and the importance of extending kindness to all people regardless of where they are from.

Beautiful story
Loved this book for my three year old and I know it will be in his library for years to come. Gorgeous images and such a sweet story of helping others and having friends wherever you go.

Wonderfully written and illustrated book with rhymes
I just purchased this book at the scholastic fair this week in the only available edition = Paperback. We have read it already 5 times in two evenings. My son loves the story how Wilf is being brought home and loves the rhymes. Here I am waiting for the hardback to be released and pre-order it. I know this will be one of our classics and maybe yours too? 5 stars.

Best child author today.
Rachel Bright has quickly become my favourite child author. The Lion Inside, The Squirrel's That Squabbled and The Kaola That Could were all brilliant books and The Way Home For Wolf continues this hot streak. Each of Bright's stories tell a wonderful tale that has a great lesson for kids to learn without being heavy handed. We've read each story countless times and they still bring a smile to my face. Each are also incredibly well illustrated by Jim Field and bring each story to life with incredibly pleasing images.I genuinely cannot fault any of the books and would recommend each without hesitation. We liked them so much, we bought them in a second language!

Lovely little book
My granddaughter was really frightened by the little red riding hood story so we tried to find books of wolves who were nice and friendly. This book helped!

Beautiful Bedtime Book
Another gorgeous story from this writer/illustrator duo. I have bought the first book -The Lion Inside- as a gift for practically every newborn I know, and then the other stories for my own little boy. Whilst The Squirrels Who Squabbled and The Koala Who Could are also lovely books, The Way Home For Wolf feels like a return to the original (and best) . I read this to my six year old at bedtime and he loves it.

A great story with a moral
The author was highly recommended by a friend -so I specifically bought 3 for my son. I bought the one about squirrels and the one about a whale. My son had to read a story at an interview at a Primary school (year 4/5) - he chose this one and the class absolutely LOVED it! So much so that he left them the book to read in their own time.

Gosh! I love these books.
I have quite a few of these books by Julia now and I absolutely love them. It's safe to say my daughter loves them too.I find them very easy and fun to read because they rhyme and I love a rhyming book. The illustrations are beautiful and the meanings behind the stories are lovely too.I like the hardback ones due to their size but also that they look good on her bookshelf whilst being easy for her to turn pages etc.Lovely books and I can't wait to see what other ones get released in the future.
