Because of mixtures, the beans either take relatively shorter or longer time to cook properly.
Some beans take relatively shorter time, especially the small green-looking beans, than the other to cook while others take relatively much longer to cook properly. As a result those that take shorter times become mushed up like polidge by the time cooking is over. I can't buy them in that form again.

Disappointed to be honest, the bag arrived full of lentils etc very few of the larger beans and certainly not the variety shown in the photos
