I believe some people may have said they looked silly in it but I'm way past being bothered about looking silly - I'm protecting my skin!

I was in the hospital for an hour and never felt I have to touch my face. I recommend to tie your hair first so hair doesn't itch your face. Was a bit windy when I came out of hospital so visor touching my face and my make up left prints on it. Thinking of putting wire or weight on the visor.

This arrived with the visor or shield folded in the package so that there is a permanent crease down it. The hat size is very large - I am average, hat size 7 and a half inches, and it is way larger than that. The shield/visor is not rigid, but heavy duty flexible plastic, so that the vision is not clear: it is as if you were under water. Altogether, a disappointment and of limited practical use.

On the plus side, the hat itself is actually quite comfortable. That's about it, really.on the minus side: the plastic visor is not detachable, so you either wear the hat with or you don't wear the hat... the plastic visor is very very flexible, so it tends to flop around as soon as breeze blows up ventilation is non-existent so it gets quite humid in there (it's as if you're in a plastic tent), and the visor fogs up within minutes of putting it onAll in all, I couldn't recommend this hat to anybody despite its very reasonable price

I expected the visor to be rigid as the illustration implies, however it is very flimsy rather like the rain cover on a toddler's push chair or pram...I am not sure how it will perform in very hot or windy weather. My head measures 55cm and it feels quite snug, I suggest it would be tight on a gentleman with a 58cm head circumference....a little disappointing.

It’s nothing like the photo! Too big even though it says for ladies, the pvc bit is very flimsy ( it looks quite stiff in the photo almost visor like but in the real product it’s so bad quality amost like wearing clear shopping bag!) waste of money!
