I'd buy another
Nice strip. There are enough outlets, I don't even have enough things in my garage to need to use them all. Good gift for that person who has a garage or workshop area that needs continous electricity.

Heavy duty
There is a lot to like here. The surge protector is made of a solid aluminum extrusion, looks really nice and it should last forever, as long as the internals hold up. 12 outlets spaced far apart for all those weird shaped wall warts and a 15 foot cord. I use it for a bunch of electronic gear, it has replaced three typical surge protectors that were daisy chained together. The mounting hardware is also a nice touch, hard to explain but there is not the typical slotted holes on the back but rather brackets that slide into the extruded housing. You put the brackets where you want it with screws and slide the unit onto those.

5 reasons why this is the best power strip for a home office
If you're like me your home office has one of those brick style power strips, probably more than one, because the outlets are too few and too close together. Many devices and chargers have that fat transformer at the plug end which take up more than one outlet turning the power strip into a tangled game of Tetris. But, no more!1. This 3 foot long power strip has lots of space between each outlet. There are no more wasted, unused outlets. What you buy is what you get - 12 outlets. Not that buy 12 get 7 usable outlets with a typical power brick. The extra space also helps with keeping cords separated and organized, and yep, I'm using all 12 outlets.2. The outlets are oriented sidewards, versus choo choo train style.About 80 percent of my device plugs extend parallel to the outlet holes, so spacing is better preserved as they point off to the side. The outlets at the end can be reserved for these sideways oriented plugs.3. The outlets are well crafted and grip the plug prongs firmly. If mounting upside down under a desk, the transformer plugs won't fall out. On my old power strip, I had to zip tie the transformers to keep them in place.4. Easy to mount with four screws, two at each end.None of this, make a template, drill perfectly placed holes, set screws for proper depth, wiggle around power brick until holes line up, then pull it off and adjust the screws more and try again.5. This power strip includes an 1800 joule surge protector.Check. This is critical for electronics. The thick 14 gauge cable 15 foot long is good, somewhat overkill. I only need 3-6 foot. Probably 9-12 foot is long enough for most people. But hey, that is what zip ties are for. When looking at these long power strips, check the plug orientation and the surge protection joules. The cheaper ones can't compare. This is why I find that this is the best power strip for a home office. Very satisfied, and highly recommended!

Great
I use it to plug in all my work equipment. Tucks right under my couch and provides a plug for all my desk, printer, scanner, phone, fan, and what ever else I need in one location. Feels like good quality and not cheep feeling.

Needed for several cords behind stereo and tv
Works well and seems well made. Much easier to use plugs when up off the lower wall. I bought two and recommend.
