Replacement for old Cuisenart processor
Our older processor still has a good motor, but plastic parts above the motor housing are getting hard to find. As the older ones crack and break, I did not want to pay a couple of hundred dollars for a new one when the original motor is still good. This product was a good fit....not perfect like the original....but good enough to keep the old one processing.

Fits Perfectly
My Cuisinart is over 16 years old and the bowl had cracked. I'm so glad I was able to find a replacement bowl that works perfectly! The lid also cracked and I was able to replace it on Amazon too!

untrustworthy company
Doesn't fit. I returned it and the refund amount was less than half of what I paid. Ripoff.

Fit old Pro Custom 11" perfectly
This is identical to the bowl that I am replacing for my Cuisinart Pro Custom 11". It fit the same as the old one and the old lid worked fine with it. I didn't see until after I had ordered that the part number is on the bowl itself and can be seen by looking into the bowl next to the handle. The amazon price was 15 dollars less than the price on Cuisinart's web site.My food processor is over 10 years old and, so far, I have replaced the food pusher and now this bowl. Eventually, I will have to replace the lid but it is fine for now. The price here is so much better that the savings will add up for all 3 parts. It seemed a shame to discard the food processor because it still works great and all the blades etc. are in very good condition. Unfortunately, all the clear plastic parts seem to crack after a while. The old bowl was starting to leak and also crack by the openings where it locks onto the base.

Almost perfect.
I have 30 year old Cuisinart that still runs perfectly if only the bowl and lid hadn't broken. This bowl is exactly the one I needed but the fit is very tight, as others have stated in reviews. Here is what I did to make it fit perfectly: take a sturdy metal file (which, fortunately, we had out in the tool bench) and file down the knobs on the side of the base where the bowl locks on. I kept checking the fit as I filed so I didn't take off too much plastic. It only took a few minutes and made all the difference. The fit is snug, but not so tight that it feels like you will break the bowl getting it on and off, and now I can use my Cuisinart again!!

EASY FIX
My husband bought me a Cuisinart way back in 1982 and the work bowl Just broke after thousands of uses. This one fits perfectly even though it's just a bit different from the original. I kind of hoped I would have had to purchase a new Cuisinart but it appears these machines truly Are built to last. Happy they still have parts from the older originals.

Perfect Fit
I was somewhat apprehensive about this purchase, given that some of the reviewers had problems with the fit. But my wife's work bowl had broken, so I decided it was worth a shot. Hers is a 1990's vintage, model Custom 11 (not a Pro). The designation on the bottom of the motor base is DLC-8M. I cannot comment on the fit on any other models, but for this one it fits and works perfectly.

Had our Cuisinart for 24 years. This bowl was very worn out and no longer stayed locked while in use - unless someone held on to it. Purchased this one and it fit perfectly (even 24 years later) and no issues.
