I should have taken DB measurements before / After, but I can say that it has reduced the amount of noise by 50%. I had rubber "vibration isolation feet under. And complaint from wife was too tall (I purchase thick ones). So this mat was to try to maintain vibration isolation (2nd floor laundry room on tile) with side of "its rather loud". But this mat was great. 1) No vibration increase 2) Height reduced 3) Bonus.. 50% reduction in sound. The mat was a bit larger (3" on depth and 4-5" on width) , so had to cut to fit. But a stout pair of scissors did the trick, but a knife would also work. Great value.

Placed under washer and dryer. Reduces noise level and also inhibits any movement of the machines.

We have hardwood floors and our washer dryer were noisy and traveled. This cut the noise by a lot and allowed me to use a counter top to finish off the space

I ordered this mat based on the description and pictures of it being beveled and having the diamond pattern.The mat I received today have neither. It's just a block of 3x5 mat clearly cut from rubber roll matting. It's as bare bones and unattractive as you could imagine. Immediately returning this product.

Bought a new front load washing machine that would jump all over the place during the spin cycle even come out of the space that was in purchased this mat put underneath the machine does not move at all works 👍

I could not find decent floor mats for my car so I bought this rubber floor mat and custom made my own floor mats. Perfect material. 3/8" thick real rubber.

The media could not be loaded. I live in an apartment on the third floor. And I was worried about disturbing the neighbors downstairs with my vibration plate. This is a good really good mat I cut it in half and stacked it on top of each other and put it under my rug and then I put my vibration plate exercise machine on top of it. I also added 4 vibrations feet underneath the vibration plate. But it's this mat that's getting rid of most of the vibration. I can't feel any vibration even standing in front or walking around my own apartment with my vibration plate running. So I know that they can't feel anything if I can't feel anything. I only feel it when I stand on the vibration plate. The couch doesn't vibrate. The wall doesn't vibrate. Only the plate vibrates in there is a lot of horsepower under this vibration plate.I read in the comments people complaining about the smell. It's rubber. I smelled it when I first open it. I don't know whether it's because it's under the carpet but I don't smell it now. I've had it for almost a month.

Came in two pieces, which I was unaware of. When connecting the pieces, the mat is not really level and they do not see to fit as nicely as I would have expected. Because mat was rolled up, one side does not lay flush with the ground. hoping that will eventually fix itself.
