Well laid out and easy to navigate, despite other comments to the contrary.
Some of the comments about the index and how to navigate this book (and its sequel) made me think a little bit longer about ordering these, but I've bought both and read through them and I'm keeping them. First up, I've found criticisms of the Index to be invalid; if you know the name of the recipe you're looking for, each recipe is listed by name in the Contents at the front of the book, in Chapter, with page number. The Index follows the same format as all the other cookbooks I own - individual ingredients are listed alphabetically, and the recipes in which they appear are listed below them, by title, with page numbers. So if you don't like the Index in the "Mandy's" cookbooks, then you don't like the Index in *any* cookbook. Secondly, yes, the recipes for the salad dressings are listed separately from the recipe for the rest of the salad, in their own chapter, and some dressings do use another dressing recipe as a "base" to which you add more ingredients. This would indeed be bothersome to people who want everything all on one page, but I think it's a space saver, considering that individual dressings are used in multiple salads. It's also less visually intimidating because listing out the full salad recipe as well as the full dressing recipe each time would create a larger "wall of text" and the reader may erroneously draw the conclusion that the recipe is a lot of work or very time consuming to prepare. The "Mandy's" cookbooks are not at all difficult to navigate and are definitely worth a try!

So many salad options
Ever since my favorite salad place "Sweet tomatos" closed I have been trying to learn how to duplicate making a yummy salad dressing recipe. This book has helped me a lot on how to achieve that goal. So far I have made tamari dressing, sweet sesame, turmeric, honey mustard to name a few. There are tons of different salad creations to make. There is also a smoothie and dessert section. I have also made Mandy' chocolate chip cookies recipe which uses maldon salt.l did not even know what that was before this book.. I found some at whole foods finally . It really made the cookies stand out from other cookies I have made with normal salt. I am looking forward to her new cookbook coming out in the fall.

Vegetarian Salad lovefest
I own a ton of cookbooks that I never use. This one has so many amazing recipes! It's also an interesting read. While I don't normally read the whole book and just skip straight to the recipes, I took the time to read all of the preamble, and it's actually pretty good. If you're looking to switch up your salad routine, it's a good one!

My husband and I eat salad now at least 4 times a week!
This recipe book is a total game changer for us. We are tired of the usual salads that I have been making so I purchased this one with the hopes of incorporating more raw veggies into our diet. First salad I made was the R&D Extraordinaire Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette. The combination of greens, strawberries, carrots and pita chips is so delicious! I did not care for the balsamic dressing though. It called for too much oil. The next time I made it I decided to use a different recipe and I am very pleased. The Fave Salad is also good but my favorite so far is the Shanghai Salad. Oh my, it’s delicious and so is the dressing! It was so good that I ate it 3 times this week. My husband (not a salad lover) asked for seconds. Like, what?!! Get this book! You won’t regret it!

Easy to make recipes for a salad lover
One of the most beautiful cook books I have seen. It is a feast for the eye and for the tummy. My 5 and half years old girl loves to cook with me. When she saw the pictures, jumping up and down with excitement, she could not decide which recipe should we make first…so she decided we will make “ALL of them now! Right mommy??” Thank you Mandy and Rebecca for creating such a marvelous product.

Salad cookbook written for their friends…
Reads like a cookbook somebody compiled for their friends. The recipes and largely good though some of the steps/ingredients dont make sense (mixing maldon salt INTO cookie batter makes zero sense - its a finishing salt). Almost all of the salads are comprised of romaine lettuce and mesclun - clearly their favorite mix of greens - more variety would be good. Maybe a little over board on personal pictures of the authors friends hanging out and having a good time. Hey - if I was compiling this and writing it for my friends - it would be great. Overall - it’s fine and I’ll continue to use it 🤷🏻♂️

Love this book, only made the Shanghai salad so far, but it was delicious. A really good quality book, lovely photos and I plan to make every salad in it 😊

This book is chic, and done with grace and elegance! I was a bit skeptical at first...why would I need a boom devoted to salads?! But the rave reviews were accurate. The recipes are absolutely mouthwatering and the photos are stunning. I haven't made anything yet as I just got it, but I am 110% certain this will be a book I turn to very frequently. The salads definitely take time to make...especially the prep work. However, they're meals in and of themselves and seem like the recipes would be perfect for any meal of the day (breakfast/lunch/dinner). Just a gorgeous, gorgeous book with tons of variety. Lots of bold and unique flavors that seem like they'd hit the spot no matter what you're in the mood for! Also, the chapter on salad dressings is outstanding. You can make your own salad combos and jazz them up with the dressings.

Not a lot of variation in ingredients and recipes have a lot of different steps because of the sauces. I did love every recipe I made so would recommend if you have time
