Up All Nite With Prince: The One Nite Alone Collection

I highly recommend this collection to new and old Prince fans alike. It's a solid look at a specific era in his career. The One Nite Alone live 2 disc set is absolutely sublime, most importantly it documents songs and a band that are far from the well covered Purple Rain Era. I especially enjoy the After show disc (It ain't over). The solo"Piano and Voice" disc is another must hear at least a few times disc. This collection is a must own in a well rounded Prince enthusiast collection (although to be honest most of us already had this material in the original pressings).The accompanying booklet is thorough and gorgeous ( although these old eyes strain to read the tiny print), The Vegas DVD video quality is disappointing BUT hey ...it's a DVD, a remastered Blu-Ray would have been preferable but this is not a remastering as much a reissue.Again, I recommend this collection highly. Enjoy it for what it is ...a slice in time of a true Master at work.

I have always been a lifelong fan of Prince's. Have seen him live on numerous tours, throughout the years. I was a member of the prince fan club and had the pleasure of access to unreleased music way before now. I must say, that this collection is a true pleasure to add to my collection. I feel so close to his artistry and to his personae as a human being. The Video tops it off and you really feel part of his live concerts, which are his crowning glory with fans. The Afterparty takes you right to his infinite connection with the audience. All of the discs are well crafted. Long Live Prince Rogers Nelson!!!!!

Liked it because it was Prince. Did not like the fact the Prince Live at the Aladdin Theatre disk will not play in my car disk player. The disk will not play in a US disk player.

I received my “ up all nite with Prince “ cd set and I just luv it , only one of the cd’s was damaged 😞 re but all other’s ( there r 5 ) are just wonderful 💜re I’m very happy with it ☺️ re all the songs made me feel like I’m there with him in concert ☺️💜

Amazon took 20 years to ship it to me, so I was upset about that. But all the cd's were amazing, and the dvd was very good quality. It's wasn't "excellent" quality, but it was very good and very clear. I don't know what these other reviews are all about that said the quality of the dvd was bad, it wasn't bad at all.

It’s Prince Live, enough said!!! All joking aside, this was such a great deal!! There are several cd’s AND a dvd included in the set. When Prince was alivethis set was rare, hard to find, and ran for hundreds of dollars. I’ve wanted it for so long, I’m so glad I was able to preorder and get it on Amazon!

For fans of Prince's live performance this is a must have collection.

Bellissimo! 3 live, di cui uno doppio, e un DVD live. Si tratta di concerti del 2002 insieme alla New Power Generation, con ospiti eccezionali, tra cui Maceo Parker, Candy Dulfer, etc..A me è piaciuto tanto, con Prince in splendida forma, una energia pazzesca.Il costo di tutto il cofanetto è decisamente abbordabile. L'unica pecca è il DVD in formato video .vob. Ho dovuto cercare non poco un convertitore in rete per poterlo vedere allo schermo della TV.

I have been a fan of Prince since 1984 and own every CD he ever released. Therefore I already own the CD's and DVDs included within this collection. I highly recommend you buy this product which contains 2 x CD's of a live concert recording from the 2002 One night alone tour, 1 x CD of the after show party, 1 x CD of the piano album One night alone and a Live DVD of Prince at the Alladin Las Vegas. This collection highlights how good Prince was as a live performer. By 2002 a lot of people had fallen out of love with Prince but for those of us who stayed on board remember this period with great fondness. Buy it. You wont be disappointed!
