Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids: The Gospel in 52 Five-Minute Bible Stories

My 4.5 year old is really enjoying this story bible, and I am too! The illustrations are super cute and the bible stories are fairly easy to understand. The description says it's for ages 4-8 and I think that's probably about right; some of the stories and vocabulary are a little hard for my son to understand right now, but I like that it's something we will be able to read for years to come. It has a little "ribbon" bookmark, which I didn't expect on a children's story bible.This is also a great little story bible if you have a children's story time at church during the worship service. Since the stories aren't too long and are easy to read, it keep kids' attention for 5 minutes. I also like that it's got the "Family Connection" page at the end of every story with some helpful info/fun fact, two questions to encourage discussion, and a small prayer. Perfect for reading at home with your own kids or for a 5ish minute long children's story during the Sunday morning worship service.

I bought this Bible for my 7 year old twin boys and we love it so much! It is easy to read, even for them as they are learning, and easy to understand. The stories are written in a fun way and the pictures are so pretty! We really enjoy the main talking points, and questions at the end of the stories. It is a great way to get them thinking and discussing what we just read.I would recommend this to anyone looking for a kid friendly Bible.

Our family enjoys this storybook Bible so much that we bought 4 more to give away to our friends and family! This kids Bible is SO well done that it has made our Bible time with the kids so much more enjoyable! The kids are much more interested and engaged, the stories are told in such a fun way! They even make me laugh sometimes when I read it to them! Our kiddos are 6 and almost 9 and they both love it and look forward to hearing the stories. They take about 5 minutes to read and have some family discussion questions after each story. The pictures are beautifully done in a child-like fun way and those big Bible words are all explained for them. The book also features a recommendation of a section of the actual Bible to refer to for each story- sometimes several verses, sometimes entire chapters. I cannot recommend this book enough- if I could give more stars, I would! We enjoy it so much that we also now subscribe to “Minno” on our TV…which has videos that go along with almost all of these stories (not word for word, but close) as well as other great videos!

This Bible is wonderful!! It's just was I was looking for. My LOs (ages 3 and 4) love to read their Bibles, and we wanted one that could be a little more like a devotional in the morning. I love the interactive questions and information that lets us go deeper in our teaching. The pictures are vibrant and eye-catching for kids. I highly recommend!

I got this for my grandson, and it has quickly become part of our bedtime routine. He enjoys all the stories and especially loves choosing which one he wants to read each night. It’s incredible how well he memorizes them — he even says a little prayer now from “David’s Psalm.” This Bible has sparked meaningful conversations and brought so much joy to our evenings. Highly recommend for any family looking to introduce children to the beauty of faith in a way they can understand and connect with.

As a kidsmin director, I have about every children's Bible ever published in my office. I grabbed this one off the shelf to take home to my 4-year-old to test it out as it correlated to the Minno Bible videos he has loved recently!Let me tell you-- it was EXACTLY the next step he needed, graduating from some of the simpler text of other preschool Bibles. I love the depth of Biblical literacy VIscher puts into all his projects, and this one is no exception! Straight out of the gate, we were learning about the Pentateuch, the Trinity, and God's rescue plan for humanity! This is so much more than a book of Bible stories... it tells the full picture of the Bible in an in-depth but age-appropriate way for children. Every night leaves my son asking for MORE! What more could a parent or educator want? 5 stars!

This is my favorite kids bible so far. My daughter would beg me to read it to her every night. The stories are easy to understand and captivating. A must buy !
