Solid set of cuffs, bad reviews are probably a fluke
What I expected. There was a little corrosion near the locking mechanism on both cuffs. My first impression was that these were used because there was a bunch on what appeared to be talcom powder on the cuffs. I wiped them down and used a cue tip to clear the corrosion and they looked brand new. I use peerless 701’s on duty and I was looking for a new pair. These are legit, I think they may have been stored for a bit which likely explains the corrosion. The hinges are smooth and the locks work very well, double lock included. I was worried after reading some bad reviews but these are great. The rivets are in good shape and it clearly hasn’t been taken apart. Would buy again at this awesome price.

Great pair of cuffs, smooth operating mechanism.
Good quality cuffs, I'm in Law Enforcement and these work well.

Quality
I've been using handcuffs on the better half of 10 years. I can say that the only other company that beats peerless is Smith & Wesson. However Smith & Wesson has been out of the game for quite some time and all of our department handcuffs are now peerless. That is not because of anything relating to money, these can be quite expensive but I definitely trust peerless.

Made in America Handcuffs
We purchased Peerless Handcuffs for our security team on the recommendation of one of our members who is a retired Minneapolis Police Officer. They operate smoothly and positively. I like the double lock feature on these vs. other brands. Made in America and a lifetime warranty. Hard to beat and reasonably priced.

Great cuffs!
Work just as well as my Smith & Wesson cuffs and are priced very reasonable! I like the push button double lock much better than Smith's lever double lock system as well. Do yourself a favor and resist the urge to get the black oxide finish on ANY cuffs. The nickel may not look as tacticool but is much more rust resistant over time.

Good quality handcuffs
These handcuffs feel and preform like police-grade handcuffs. Exactly as described

The cuff motions aren't as smooth as you might expect from a well-made new pair of cuffs.
Cuffs look very old. The cuff motions aren't as smooth as you might expect from a well-made new pair of cuffs. However, there's not a lot of cuffs on the market to compare with besides for smith and wesson (which has similar quality issues). However, if you cuff a guy he will probably stay cuffed which is the biggest point of cuffs.

Very good cuffs
I bought these and a pair of S&W 100's. I like the design of the Peerless better and the fit and finish is much better than the S&W. The exterior of the Peerless cuffs is butter smooth with no rough places to snag or scratch. The pair I received was not tight like many of the reviews state and were ready to go right out of the box. I think the push pin double lock is much better design and will be far less prone to breaking the pin off a key. If you're looking at these for about the same price as the S&W 100's, get these.

Exceptionally high quality and comfortable handcuffs.
Very good quality handcuffs. Also, some of the most comfortable for people to wear, if that matters. Just very very good indeed. Well, well worth the money I paid.

These are a close 2nd.
I was using a pair of extremely old and worn out pair of handcuffs that my company issued me for a while so I went out and bought a pair of S&Ws a few months back and fell in love with them. Saw there was a sale going on with these so I figured I'd give them a shot. They function like any regular pair of handcuffs. Make sure they're oiled and they'll be ready to go. They're not light like a pair of handcuffs from ASP but they don't weigh a ton either. I absolutely love the black oxide look compared to the nickel finish. The only reason why I don't give them a 5 star is because after using S&W handcuffs, I can't stand using the double lock mechanism on these.

Really nice
Heavy duty what you can expect from Peerless.. I've read a few complaints about white residue on the cuff but these cuffs are blued like a firearm and its just a natural by product of the bluing process. If you have ever used cold bluing you've seen that residue before... just wipe it off with oil and your good to gouse a good oil like fluid film and you shouldn't have to worry about rust .... if you want it to look pretty try using Flitz metal polish

Great cuffs for the price
Honestly I don't think you'll find better cuffs for the price. I find peerless cuffs are easy to break in and work perfectly as a second back up set... or whatever else you want to use cuffs for... I don't judge. The keys are not useful though, buy a different handcuff key. If you need a pair of handcuffs and don't want to spend alot, these are the cuffs to buy, you can't go wrong with peerless.

The pair I bought was faulty
I bought a set for my kids to play with. Seemed great at first until they put them on their cousin and double locked them. We could not get them Undone we tried everything. Even my brother who is a locksmith could not get them open. End result we had to use bolt cutters to remove them from his hands. Once they were removed we still could not push the teeth down that would allow it to open and close. I do not recommend unless you own a pair of bolt cutters. No cheap to just be cut up a couple of weeks after purchase 👎

Not worth close to 50$ *UPDATED OCTOBER 2019
ORIGINAL :When I got it, the box was already cut and ripped open, the cuffs and key were loose in the envelope paper package. They advertise 2 keys in the pictures, but it only comes with 1, so if you lose it, too bad no spare. Smells horrid after 2 weeks of use. They are sturdy, however. // UPDATED : I decided to give them another chance after returning the original pair close to a month ago, and this one came in a neat sealed box, with 2 KEYS instead of the beforehand 1 KEY and a fresh coating. I don't understand why it wasn't sent to me this way the first time.

Functions well, Rusts with any moisture
Work well, the finish can be a bit of a pain and rusts quite easily unless you wear them on your belt. You can clean them off with WD40 and some rags, I'd recommend nickel plated cuffs but peerless cuffs work great in general.

Sturdy and good quality
Sturdy and good quality for what I needed it for. I instructed my partner to try and break them and she was unable to do so.

Not maintained at warehouse
After I received the product, when I went to inspect it, it was covered in rust, along with some questionable white substances build up around the key hole . Had to oil it, use a iron brush for a while to take off the rust. Not what I expected from a new pair of cuffs.

Reliable cuffs
Good back up pair to my primary. Finish has held up so far though I've heard the black oxidized finish rusts and just looks old.Update: these have continued to be my backup. They needed a little oil in the hinge because I don't use this pair as often. The finish has rusted a bit but no more than my nickle ones have.

Great cuffs for a great price!
I bought these so I could learn how to pick them while cuffed. Its very hard to do because they are really well made cuffs. For the price, you can't go wrong with these.

Smooth Action Right Out The Box!
Reviews will say that Peerless Model 700s are quite stiff initially and take a fair bit of time to break in; I found this new set to be the opposite and the action was very smooth right out of the box. I was very impressed with this set and they are very, VERY secure!
