Bought this as a modern version of a hurricane lamp for when our power goes out. Haven't had to use it for that purpose yet, but here's what I love.I can keep it plugged in / charged so it'll be ready when the power goes out.End spot light and area lights each have a bright and a less-bright setting (dim is relative... especially in a black out).The red may or may not get used - we'll see.I don't see much need for the red flasher, but I could see it being helpful in Automobile contexts.LED in the button shows when it's got a full charge.Built-in USB port for charging essentials during a power outage could be extremely handy.Big enough to be findable in the dark, small enough & lightweight enough to be easily carried & used.Handle for carrying and a loop on the end for hanging (to illumniate the entire room/tent).The only drawback that I can think of is that all the light settings happen through one button, cycling through 6 settings + OFF. But that's really trivial, and if it serves its intended purpose during the next blackout, I really won't be complaining about it.For what it's worth, I hardly ever give 5 stars to anything for the same reason judges don't give a 10 to the first gymnast - gotta leave room for pleasant or exceptional surprises.

dont buy it. Itworked fine for the first charges but after the 4-5th charge it became not usable anymore... battery last for less than 10 min

There is nothing to dislike!!

The main reason I got this was to use at home during the numerous power outages I experience in the fall and winter months. The fact that is rechargeable means my lantern will always have a fresh battery when I need it, and as a bonus, the 4000mAh power supply can charge my 2400mAh phone battery and still have enough charge to provide light. After testing it and seeing how well it performs as a roadside emergency device, I decided it belongs in my car. However, I liked this product so much that I decided to purchase one for my home and one for my teenager’s car.What I like:*The flashlight and lantern are bright enough and white enough to work on my car if I should brake down on the roadside at night, but I could also use it to illuminate a room or read a book in my tent.*The flashlight’s T6 LED and extra-large reflector casts a brilliant beam up to an amazing 250ft and provides diminishing illumination beyond that.*Durable construction - it seems like it could easily withstand a drop from standing height.*The opaque light defuser on the lantern means less eye fatigue compared to clear lantern shields, plus no annoying blue/green dot in the middle of my vision from viewing exposed ultra-bright LEDs.*The fold away handle and hanger, as well as the molded plastic drop bumpers, make this a very versatile light that can be held, suspended, or laid flat without rolling.*The flashing red light is bright enough to attract attention from long distances and would make an excellent roadside warning device.What I don’t like:*There doesn’t seem to be a way to replace the batteries, and if there is, the very basic instructions don’t mention it.Other than that one drawback, this is a great device for the money and I highly recommend it.
