Ive bought a few zentangle books and this was the best. It showed what can be done artistically and was very inspiring!

Excellent book for beginners or advanced Zentangle artists.

I have most of the Zentangle books that Amazon sells. I am not artistic, but I love the art of Zentangle. The book doesn't have much step-out instruction. If you focus on the patterns, you can figure them out (for the most part). I am pleased I added this book to my collection.

A good reference of all things Zentangle!!

With this I was hoping for more instruction or basic visual pages of zentangle. It has a lot of art of zentangle. I work best from inspiration of simple visuals. This is very complex and not for the beginner or artist like myself. I will still refer to it though. Just not what I was expecting.

I found this book to be a good all-around view of the Sent angle art and many, many diverse applications of the principles that are a part of the Zentangle principles and some of the inspiring outcomes of its practice. The book also provides numerous steps outs or instructions on how to draw a good number of specific tangles. A great overview of the variety of outcomes that can be derived from various different artists. Well worth the time to read especially for a newcomer to the practice of A entangle but, of equal interest to a seasoned Practitioner.

This book has a wide variety of zentangle approaches (and artists) so that no matter what your creative inclinations are you can find something that helps you expand your thinking. I particularly like the use of zentangles superimposed over another design, for example, a classically drawn face with zentangled hair or the painting of a woman with zentangled clothes.I work mostly on gourds and was pleased to see Judy Burkett's gourd. I have been doing my own versions of gourd zentangles as gourdoodles but her approach is far more artistically freeing (there are designs within designs) and has given me inspiration to try more ambitious projects. (Linda R. Cobb also worked "in the round" on a ceramic pig.) The works of the other artists are also inspiring but for me there is a difference between working on a 2 dimensional versus a 3 dimensional surface.At the back of the book there is an instruction area showing how to approach several of the tangles. It's very helpful in seeing the steps one can take when working on complex designs. Seeing the sequencing of steps is very freeing and allows me to try more complex designs.I recommend this book heartily for those who want a broad approach to the use of zentangles.

This is filled with glorious images of what people have done to create art with zentangles. It’s so utterly inspiring. I can’t wait to take my passion for tangling to higher levels, and I believe I can, having bought this book. It’s one if the best books I’ve ever bought.

I discovered zentangling a few years ago and having a very stressful life, found the zentangling not only creative, exciting and rewarding, it also gave me some serenity. The cover of the book I bought with the lovely little bird and the vivid blue background just grabbed my attention. I replicated it the very same day I got the book and there are so many artists work in the book, they're inspiring. I intend to buy more books in the near future

I have just started drawing classes and I am interested in the zentangle method to destress and get organic movement into my drawings.

素敵なパターンが沢山あり、画材などの記載も参考になりました。
