This is a pretty nice washer set. It looks to be made of birch and has latches on its sides to lock the 2 halves together. The latches aren’t the strongest but they haven’t popped open on me yet. I have a feeling they wouldn’t keep the two halves together if you dropped it but I tried shaking it around fairly violently and it held together just fine. The bottom of the can and box have felt on them and the fitting of the felt was done poorly. It is glued down good but whoever cut and glued it to the box is not even close to a perfectionist. I don’t think this is a big deal functionally but figured it was worth mentioning. The included washers are awesome. I don’t drink beverages with twist tops so the integrated bottle openers in the washers are a definite plus. If you enjoy building things, build your own and save some money but if you don’t want to build your own this is a nice set and would be worth buying IMO.

Upon opening the washer game, the center tube was already unattached and it was pulled away from the bottom having pulled some of the bottom pine it was attached to. Not gluing something your self is a big deal but the quality of this game is horrible. Save your money and buy a better quality one.

I wanted something to play on the back porch or when traveling in the RV with friends and family. This is small enough to be portable and great for all ages and skill levels.We let the little ones stand closer and the “pros” must stand further back.I wanted to play it inside at home but was a little leery of having the pitching washers bouncing off my tile floors if the kid’s missed. So, I got out my jar of change. The kid’s earned the change by doing chores based on a point system. Then, they got to play with it. Winners kept what they won. Great way to play as a family and a great way to get the kids to willing do chores.Winnings can be converted into extra screen time, video time, TV time, phone time, or other bonuses such as a pass on a chore. One night the week's winner got to eat a backwards dinner - that means dessert first! A great incentive for earning a way to play. Keeps the coins in the change jar recycling.It is fun and a challenge. I am very happy with this game set.

The wood is soft causing the edges to breakdown a bit and chip.

This is a great game. It's well made with sturdy materials. The washers are heavy and nice. The boxes snap together so you can easily take them with you. This is a fun picnic game for the whole family.

The instructions for the Washer Toss Game by Rally and Roar state that the boxes should be placed 20 feet apart. We are avid horseshoe throwers. This is not horseshoes, it's washers. 10 feet max should be the distance between the two boxes. I cant imagine how quick the washers and boxes would disintegrate if you were playing 20 ft apart - or how long it would even take to complete a game.Note: We've played about 20 or so games with this set up. Purchased last minute for the 4th of July. Needed something competitive on the patio to keep the fun / competitive times rolling and the beers flowing. Normally play with custom made boxes with 3” industrial washers.Washers: The plastic coating on the beer opener washers (I get the design / target audience but its just no good) started breaking from the get to. We played on a concrete patio (see pics). I’ve since painted the washers after the plastic broke off of them. Also - I’ve never used one of them to open a beer.Boxes: Game play is loud. The padding in the boxes could be thicker (and up on the sides - even in / around the PVC). We inserted cardboard to keep the noise down. So far the boxes have held up. They should have put two additional hinges for carrying purposes so they don’t come apart.All in all, Overall the product is gimmicky but works… so far.

This washer toss game works great. Washers are sturdy and coated well. The boxes are thiner than I expected. The closing hinges are NOT tight which causes the boxes to not stay together when carrying or transporting (that's why only 4 stars). They do offer solutions if you aren't satisfied or it arrives broke or with missing pieces.
