Toilet cleaner for some heavily scaled toilets
Worked really well on a heavily scaled toilet pan. Tried a double dose at first on our worst toilet and it did not magically fix the scaling so was disappointed. A couple of weeks later I was wondering what to do withithe rest of it and that unsightly U bend. I tipped the rest of the pack all in after using hot water as described in the instructions and the morning after using a glove tried cleaning the U bend with a washing up sponge scourer and it all lifted straight off. It looks as good as new again. Much better than fitting a new toilet. I will be buying some more

Brilliant! 5 out of 5
It is fantastic if you follow instructions correctly. Need to leave the product on for as long as you can. I left it for 24 hours and it worked! Now I don’t need to change the toilet bowl.

Pretty good, but small quantity
Works if leave long enough in hot water but you don't get much for your money. Someone is raking it in. Use in conjunction with a pumice 'brush'.

Tiny pack, with tiny amount to use, even though instructions say for quite a bit of product
Absolute rubbish. Did everything it said to do, twice, with extra amount each time. Didn't shift a thing.

I wish I had taken a 'before and after' shot!
First, some background: I had no issues with toilet staining until I started using a reasonably popular rim block product which left what I thought at the time was some sediment... I realised at some point that said 'sediment' was not actually being flushed away and then almost overnight, it turned into this really unpleasant massive brown stain around the bottom of the pan under the waterline. I tried your basics like bleach with limescale remover, cola, scrubbed it etc and all that happened was that it got worse. I could not have made it up! It started really stressing me out because I could not get rid of it. As a last ditch attempt before trying to drain the toilet and get right in there with a pumice stone, I did a search for an industrial product and this turned up. I thought a tenner was worth the risk and so I bought it. Be warned, this container only contains 8 doses if you are using it to keep stains at bay fortnightly as the packet says; otherwise, for heavy staining, it seems to be one dose. In any case, I used it all because by this point, the staining was pretty industrial and I was prepared to do almost anything to get rid! I boiled my kettle and poured the contents into the toilet, followed by the powder, stirred it around and left it overnight {from about 11:30pm - 8:45am}. I lifted the lid in the morning and the stain still appeared to be exactly as it had been other than a slight discolouration of the water. I was absolutely gutted because I thought it had been as useless as everything else I had tried... Thinking I was just going to have to get in there with a pumice stone and utterly disheartened, I flushed the chain... Imagine my amazement when the bowl completely cleared...! There was a tiny bit of residue left which I used the brush on a bit half-heartedly but even that lifted... I am so pleased with this product. Yes, it's expensive but in my opinion, well worth the money. The container is a stupid shape however, that just means it fits through the letterbox so I don't really mind that... Thank you, CalSolve, thank you!!UPDATE 07/11/23 Well the scale stain returned so I thought I would experiment with the CalSolve and just used the 2 teaspoons or so. I am delighted to report that it worked a treat. So I will continue to use it as directed :)

Removed the stain first time
Saw mixed reviews but thought I would take a chance as I had tried bleaching and scrubbing the toilet but it just wouldn't work as the stain was very stubborn. Followed the instructions but could only leave it for about five hours (it does say up to 12 hours) which I thought wouldn't be enough.. but to my surprise after a scrub with the brush and a flush it looked like new and I really wish I had done a before and after photo. Highly recommend.
