It wasn't easy to find a not-expensive dirndl set that wasn't the cheap-looking, "ultra-sexy" version. I feel like it's sexy in its own right, without having to have your butt cheeks hanging out the back or cut down to your naval. I love how the dress and under-top are all one piece, unlike another I bought at the same time to make sure I would hopefully have one that fit well for this weekend. On that one, the under-top felt super annoying, at least to me!There were some stray threads that I trimmed, but overall, this looks much nicer and seems better quality than most "costume" ones I have seen, in the $40 range. The red apron really sets it off and is a nice velvety material. The dress itself is pretty lightweight and I think it will be comfortable in closed spaces where it can get warm.The size was perfect for me - the only thing I will say is I may play with the back some to maybe pin it up a BIT... someone mentioned it might be intended for bustier chicks, which I am not, so maybe that's why I've got a little looseness in the back where it zips up? Strange not in the front, but must just be the way it's cut somehow.Also, I happened to have a black petticoat that is nicer than this one, so I am using that one, but yeah, the petticoat that comes with it is a pretty sad little cheap one, of course. I think it DOES add a little something to the outfit, though.I can't wait to wear this to the get-together it's intended for, and I predict I'll be using it again in the future! Thanks for making a nice looking, not cheap or chintzy looking dirndl set! :)

I bought this costume for an Oktoberfest party. Unfortunately it arrived too late and I had to return it. I tried it on before I sent it back so that I could give an honest product review. I am 5'7" and 120 lbs--I purchased the small. It fit perfectly. I was also impressed with the quality of the fabric and workmanship at this price point. The white insert for the chest is a bit sheer but not bothersome. I liked that the apron is a separate piece and that it came with a petticoat to poof out the skirt. I hit right at my knees and did not look frumpy. It was tasteful and flattering without being overtly sexy.

The dress itself was beautiful however the fit was not. Like other reviewers mentioned the top was a lot smaller than the bottom. I wear L-XL. I ordered the XL. The top of the dress fit more like a medium and the bottom like a XL. I’m sending it back. Also buyer beware… while it says free returns it is not. When I went to submit my request for a return the instructions notified me that ALL returns would be charged a 20% restocking fee, 50% if the item wasn’t returned as it was received. And if I printed the return label I would be charged the return shipping fee. Both of these fees would be deducted from my refund amount.

Based upon another reviewer I purchased this. ITs amazing! Very good quality (especially for the price). The fabric is comfortable and soft and its three pieces, thus, its not like a 'costume', more like the real thing! I bought the Small (I'm a size 4) and I put on a few pounds (so really a 6 now) so wasn't sure if it would fit. It does! It's snug but comfortable, so if I can drop 4-5 before I wear it, it'll be better but it still looks great!!

This is very well made. Almost doesn’t feel like a costume. Lots of details & arrived sooner. Than expected. Flattering fit. I used the size chart & fits true to size. I did purchase a separate “can-can” skirting as the previous reviews said the one included wasn’t as great of quality. They were right. The rest of the costume was spot on. The apron is nicely made & is a separate piece so can wear with or without. Can’t wait to wear it this weekend.

I love the design and the quality of the material is wonderful but the sowing in some places aren't done very well. Specifically the the apron and one or the button on the dress. They aren't huge issues but if I am play 40 or so dollars for an item I would expect it to be in better shape. I still really love it and would buy it again but only of the company works on checking their merchandise befor shipping it. To the owner: maybe there is a malfunction with one of the sowing machines ? These two things are easy to fix but I am annoyed that I will be fixing them.

The qualify and comfort is perfect. Not itchy and fit just right. I highly recommend!

This thing was awesome. Better than expected in the quality department, but don’t kid yourself- it’s still a Halloween costume. For the price I don’t think you’ll find anything too much better. The dress looks good with or without the itchy under skirt part. I wore it with for the full effect and put on shorts underneath so I could focus on beer and not my itchy ass legs. Also- just a touch boob revealy. If you’re down with that then this is the dress for you. It fit true to the size guide so stick with it or it’ll look weird. No need to size up.

Really really happy with it! Decent quality and has nice off the shoulder details. I think looks more authentic than other items I’ve seen. I’m a size 12 uk size and I ordered a Medium and fits really well.

Although this is a costume, I was surprised how nicely it was made.It fit me perfect (size L - I am 5'6 - 155 pds).I changed the front ribbon and did not use the under garment, because it was itchy and the costume looked better without it!The outfit is one piece and the apron is separate. It arrived in 4 business days and I live in BC, Canada.I had so many compliments. I recommend this costume, you won't be disappointed.
