Lotus Black Raisins (Jumbo) 1kg

It doesn't taste as good as the other black raisins

Even though it initially seemed like a lot of money for a bag of raisins, you do get a huge bag! 1kg.I was so excited to receive these, as I love raisins. I know it's obviously down to personal taste, but I just couldn't get used to the unique taste of these particular ones. They look amazing, as they are so large, but actually, I found them to be too dry and bitty.I imagine they might be better used in something like a tea loaf, where they are soaked first, before cooking. I gave most of mine to a friend.

Raisins are delicious to look at, but a little too dry to be a snack.

These are very sweet and delicious raisins which would make a great snack. They are NOT joking when they call them jumbo though. These are huge! Probably not ideal for baking.

Raisins are very nice & fresh and tasty. I easily recommend this product. Although I didn't realise I was ordering Jumbo size !
