They work! B
These insoles are all they are cracked up to be. I have ball of foot pain and have purchased many, many different insoles. These are not overly thick and really support the arch to take pressure off the ball of foot. Going on a hiking trip to test them out in real walking situations. Worth the money- almost a real ortho insert!

For me, the metatarsal pad is a bit weird. See my review...
CAUTION: The metatarsal pad is in the incorrect place (at least for me). I need a good metatarsal pad to relieve ball of foot pain, but this pad totally misses the mark. This pad is on the outer edge of the foot, thereby being nowhere near the ball of the foot. Other inserts I've had, with metatarsal pads, had the pad positioned behind the ball of the foot, thereby taking pressure off the ball... Now; to be fair, everything else, about these inserts is FANTASTIC, ESPECIALLY THE HEEL CUSHION! i would imagine that if anyone may be experiencing heel pain, when walking and/or running, THESE INSERTS WOULD BE NEAR-PERFECT, having a nice thick cushion that is not too soft and not too hard, but rather JUST RIGHT!

Provides good support
These are well made and they provide good arch support.

Made in China and it shows
I had high hopes for these insoles based on the product description, but unfortunately, they fell short in several key areas. The material feels stiff and unforgiving, especially after a few hours of wear. Rather than alleviating foot fatigue, they actually made it worse — particularly in the arch and heel areas.Despite claiming to offer “all-day comfort,” I found myself needing to remove them midway through the day due to discomfort. They also didn't fit properly in several of my shoes, even though I followed the sizing guide. To be fair, the build quality seems decent, and they may work for someone with very specific foot needs. But for general use and anyone looking for reliable cushioning and support, I can’t recommend these. Back to the drawing board for me.

Very soft, no support
Very soft and cushy but no support in the heel or the arch. Great to use in a shoe that is too large as these take up a lot of space. If you are on your feet all day, these might be good but keep in mind you will lose a shoe size. Sketches with memory foam insole may be a better choice.

Great relief for metatarsal support
This was originally given to me by my podiatrist when I broke my foot a few years ago. I still find myself needing support and got a new pair for new shoes. It relieved the discomfort in my new shoes immediately again. If you haven't used metatarsal support before, it takes a little bit of time to get used to, but it will really help.
