Essentials Vita-C Exfoliating Peeling Gel

I got sucked in to a micabeauty kiosk at a mall about a year ago. Out of all the products they tried to push on me this is the only one I had any interest in. I walked away deflated when the lady tried to sell me a small bottle of this stuff for $175. Checked Amazon on a whim when I got home and this is much more affordable.Lady told me this little bottle would last a year but I have a lot of dry dead skin that builds up even with regular showering etc. I use this on my face and arms-- I have keratosis pilaris and this stuff is the only thing I've ever had success with. I literally feel like I'm shedding my skin when I use it after a shower!Downside is I go through this stuff fairly fast. Upside is I'm not paying $175 each time.Update: As of July 1, 2018, I have received bad product twice from amazon. It was inconsistent which tells me that someone likely sent the defective stock into an amazon warehouse, so it's going to be tricky as to whether what you get is tainted or not. Features of the bad product I received included a very off color (a dark dingy yellow as opposed to the near white I am used to) and a VERY strong scent of what appears to be rose water. I suspect this product was cut with rose water which is not only annoying but scary because I have no idea what I put on my skin the first time around when I wasn't sure if I was just imaging things. This time I still have left over normal product and the difference is very obvious. I've attached two images of my old, pure product next to the new product. Buyer beware. I'm going to return this and try a different seller but I suspect the warehouse source is the true issue, which sucks pretty bad.

I love this product! I don't use a lot of facial care products. I initially started using this after being nabbed by a mall kiosk sales person. This is one time I'm so glad I was caught! The product smells divine, and easily strips off old, dead, dull skin. I knew I loved it, but that was doubly reinforced months later when a DIFFERENT kiosk salesperson insisted on sampling their product. Similar idea, but ..... eeeuw! The smell was BAD. That experience made me even more grateful to have found the MicaBeauty Vita-C Exfoliating Peeling Gel.I just repurchased this product. I believe they've taken the micro beads out. It isn't quite as effective, but I'm SO GLAD they are responding to the harm we are unintentionally doing to our planet. Fish: you're welcome. ...and I still love the scent.

This product is very nice... I use it once a week as recommended... And I notice a difference in the clarity of my skin... The only thing that was off was the bottle it is in is really cheap and the pump is barely functional.

I bought this item but it clearly does not work. It is not worth the money. It seems the product is expired.

I absolutely love this stuff! As a rule of thumb I never, ever buy anything from kiosks. While on vacation I was stopped by a particularly charismatic sales rep for Lioness cosmetics at the Grove in Los Angeles. Call me a sucker - no doubt the charm sealed the deal, but the quality of the product ensured a repeat customer. Before using Mica I was experiencing redness and uneven texture over my cheeks due to weather and aging. As recommended, I use the serum about once per week (more frequently in the winter) to exfoliate. I've noticed a dramatic improvement in skin tone and smoothness. Personally, their facial cream is nothing to write home about, but this serum is a must have for your facial care regimen.

I tried this product in a mall in Bethesda MD, and it works fantastically. Helps fade scars and dark spots/sun marks. Keeps facial skin radiant.When I moved overseas I was afraid I wouldn't find this. Luckily Amazon has it and for a cheaper price. I bought it at $70 at the mall.When I ordered this product it arrived very quickly and with the same quality results as the product I bought in the mall, same brand name.

Bought this in Amsterdam for €50 (around $57). The guy told me the retail price is €150, so I thought I was getting a good steal! I got home and saw I could get it for cheaper back home and get free shipping.. The product is average at best. Not worth the money.

Amazing little gel! Bought this after trying a sample at the mall and I must say this keeps my skin radiant all year long! I get compliments all the time about my smooth face and it's all because of this gel.
