Brief summary: Not a great pair of gloves, ortho tech is what makes the price in this situation, SG technology is not good quality and characteristics of the glove are far below my expectations for Reusch's more expensive gloves. I wouldn't recommend this glove, it is a pain to get on and not very durable at all, plus the grip is just mediocre, nothing compared to some of Reusch's real game quality gloves.I was really excited about buying these gloves when I first saw them. They look really nice and I expected them to be great keeper gloves but I was very wrong. After just one game they are starting to wear a fairly good amount, the only thing these gloves have that the $40 gloves don't have is the ortho tech, which was also a disappointment. The spines are very difficult to get back in the glove after they are taken out and are not worth the trouble of having to use a lot of extra strength to clench into a fist while the spines are in. The SG (soft grip) technology is training glove quality in my opinion, I play high school soccer and other than the ortho tech and the nice look of these gloves they were not very good, not recommended to anyone who wants to spend a reasonable amount on soccer gloves. One of the worst problems in my opinion was the wrist strap. It is incredibly difficult for me to get these gloves on and they are my regular size, the strap itself is only about 4 or 5 inches and doesn't fully wrap around the wrist. Overall I am disappointed in myself for buying these gloves and I am disappointed in Reusch for making a low quality glove for a high quality price, think twice before buying these. That being said I think that Reusch is still one of the best out there for keeper gloves, but keep looking because these are not worth the money. For the same price the Reusch A X-1 Keeper gloves are great all around gloves, they don't have ortho tech but all of the gloves that are good quality (and are not over $100) do not have ortho tech. Also the Reusch XOSA Pro G1 are $80 and have the G1 technology which is Reusch's finest for dry conditions; however, not as durable as the X-1 and not as good in wet conditions, I think the XOSA look makes them look great but that's just me, to whoever is reading this review: good luck in finding some great keeper gloves, it takes some trail and error sometimes.

Great fitting
Bought these for our daughter, She loves them!, and as a goalie she wanted good gloves that will protect her hands. These are perfect.

Huge Disappointment
Ordered these gloves last August for my son who is the Varsity Goalie for his school. Had high hopes for them, I usually only pay $50 for gloves and they last maybe a season, so I thought if I spent $90 these would be great gloves and last through tournaments. WRONG. They were totally BEAT by the end of September! I mean, falling apart, chunks of foam missing, no good at all. I took the time to write to the company and express my concerns, even sent pictures. They said that my experience was very unusual and they would not give me credit towards new gloves. I decided for the same amount of money I spent on ONE pair of these, I bought him TWO pairs of BRINE gloves with finger protection. The Brine gloves have lasted him since the end of last season, through summer soccer and they will finally be spent by tournament time this year. I am very disappointed with the Reusch gloves and won't buy this brand again. However, I would not hesitate to buy Brine gloves again, they were a much better value.
