This is best Japanese sour plum candy.

These hit all your taste buds. Sour, salty and sweet. There's not much in the bag but I just eat them slowly and savor the explosion on your taste buds. You can easily eat a whole bag in one sitting. Just made my second order. They are a bit pricey which would be the only downside.

The packs may seem small if you don't know what to expect, but I think six for nine bucks is better or about the same as I've seen elsewhere. Mine came fresh with an expiration date exactly three months from the time of delivery. These umeboshi sheets are like small strips of very thin, firm fruit leather. I like to leave a strip on my tongue to savor and let it soften up instead of chewing it right away like I do with most fruit leathers. If you aren't familiar with the flavor, they start off sweet, then sour/tangy and a little salty, leaving a slightly bitter aftertaste. Despite drinking plenty of water, I sometimes experience dry mouth as a side effect of a medication, but these umeboshi strips make my mouth water from the tanginess 🤤

I recently got into Ume candy, and this was one of my best purchases. Although it may seem a bit pricey for the small quantity, the pouch actually lasted me longer than I expected (and there are 6 of them). This particular snack has a tart sour flavor that really kicks in when you put it in your mouth. Not very sweet, but extremely addicting haha. I would definitely recommend if your a fan of umeboshi or dried plums.

I ordered a few different ume produce and these were by far my favorite! Tangy, chewy like a fruit leather, exactly what I was craving. Will definitely be ordering again. There are a few packs with a bunch of slices in each pouch, it was worth it.

Definitely different from the photo. Still taste okay but not the same as the one I got previously else where. Packaging is different versus photo.
