I was a little skeptical of the strength of these, because the jeweled tint made it look so thin. But we used these camping last weekend and I'm totally in love with this set. The plates are just as large as our plates at home, and the substantial lip is a great forethought for when you're trying to balance your dinner on your knees around the campfire (particularly useful for dispersed camping). I guess you're supposed to insert the smaller cup into the larger one but we saw no need for that, giving you in effect eight cups to use. The bowls are a pretty good size as well and the lid is genius - it almost doubles as a spare plate if you need another flat surface for food. We did manage to melt one of the plates a bit by pulling our pie iron out of the fire and trying to slap the sandwich down on the plate immediately after, but it didn't affect the structural integrity of the plate. I know the set says it's dishwasher safe, but I'm not taking any chances so I handwashed it all again once we got home (butter/fat doesn't come off very well when you're camping in cold weather so be prepared to wipe these down with something dry before next use if that bothers you). I see no reason this set won't last us many seasons, but if they don't, I'm really happy that I can recycle them once their camp life has ended.

I purchased this set for our camping trip this last weekend. I love it! Very compact, and the plates were big enough to please my "where's the beef" husband. They are all very sturdy, and I was pleasantly surprised by the cups. Inside each of the lidded cups there is a smaller cup, so you really get 8 cups out of the deal. The lidded cups aren't leak proof, so for those calling them sippy cups, it's not really true. We used them to keep the bugs out of our beer and my sons milk, and they did the trick! We also ate steak on the plates, but since we used the serrated knives from the Coleman cutlery (that are not metal, but they cut apples and our steak without issue) there didn't seem to be noticible scrathes.. I imaging that eventually they will get scratched, but they are for camping, so I'm not too concerned.I did get home and pop them in the dishwasher.. I noticed on another review that they warped. My plates did warp a tiny bit, but I stacked them up and put a heavy pot on top, and they were back to normal. I also love the bag. I put the dishes away in our tent trailer, and the bag was handy to take to the beach :). Overall, I love it! We are actually going to order another set to keep in the trunk for unexpected picinics.

We recently took these on our week long camping trip in Olympic National Park. Before we left, I washed them on the top rack of the dishwasher to make sure they would hold up to high heat that others said in their reviews caused issues. The bowl lids did bend a little, but they are so flexible that they still fit on the bowls. Everything else was fine, even when transferring hot greasy bacon directly off the griddle onto the plates. We had an older GSI set and love that this one has actual bowls for cereal and snap on lids for storing leftovers in the cooler. The insulated cup is large, and I loved having the lids on all the time to keep bugs and ash out. I also found myself using the lids for my kids all the time to prevent spills. The lids snap on TIGHT, which makes it difficult to open to refill or wash. I also found the 2 sets of cups a bit overkill. Overall, they work pretty well for my family, but there are 5 of us and 1 additional place setting is half the cost of the 4 person set.

I purchased this product for car camping and for a 3-month roadtrip adventure in our 1987 Toyota Dolphin.CAR CAMPING:This is a great set for car camping with a larger group. I have used it with my girl scouts, as well as with friends. The set almost has too many pieces, but you can always leave the excess at home. The cups are a nice size, and I like that you get 8 in the set, although, again, that amount can be excessive. The lids keep the coffee or tea warm, while keeping bugs out.MOTORHOME:This product provided us with everything we needed in a complete and packable set. We typically would not stop for lunch -- one of us would drive while the other made lunch. The plates were perfect for keeping our food on the plate, and not sliding off if we hit a bump or turn in the road. We stored leftovers in the bowls with lids. My only negative observation is that the bowl lids warped a little, maybe in the heat at one point? But they still stay on the bowls, although it's a little bit harder to get them on.BOTTOM LINE: We've been extremely happy with the set's durability and haven't had a crack or chip in any piece. Each piece is easy to clean (hand washed ours only). I would definitely recommend this to a friend, and buy a second set if needed! Thanks GSI!

Product is excellent! I thought it would be ok to wash it on high heat sanitize option of my dishwasher and it slightly warped. The more I use the product, it seems to go back to its original shape. Hand wash or when dishwashing do a normal wash with air dry option. This stacks great and I love the lids for the bowls. Perfect for a family of four for picnics and camping 🤙🏽

We just bought a brand new pop-up camper. They are quick to set up, easy to tow and VERY compact. Although every ounce of free space is used for storage, there always seems to be "not enough". That's why I was so pleased with this purchase. Everything stacks neatly whether you use the provided mesh bag or just store in a drawer or tote. I love the "travel cups" with cushioned sleeves to keep your hands from getting too warm and "sippy tops" to allow you to enjoy your hot beverage while driving or walking along the beach. BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!!!! Inside those "mugs" are regular drinking cups that store nicely inside!The bowls all have covers so you can use them for your morning oatmeal or use them to store leftovers! The plates are a decent size (unless you have a "Stomach That Walks Like A Boy" like I do (in which case you'll never find a big enough plate).A great purchase for the price. I highly recommend it.

Muy buena calidad! No sé ve corriente y el set está muy completo todo es fácil de apilar para el transporte, además que incluyen una bolsa para poder empacarlas. El único defecto que en mi opinión le resta puntos es que es demasiado grande para poder ir de camping con ellos.

Just come back from a weekend camping using this for the first time. Really happy with this set. Overall the product is really well made. It takes up much less space than our old odds and bits and fits easily into its little carry bag . Colours mean we know who has what. Insulated mugs are just enough to keep drinks warm when you are outside and stop burnt hands when using boiling water for drinks. We didn't really use the lids on the bowls, and they are the only part I would have a minor whinge about as they aren't flat and didn't seem to fit too well the one time I did try one. May actually take them out of the set. The plates have raised sides so great for curry and casseroles. All are a good size and great for a family of four. They were well packaged and delivered in good time. Little bit pricey, but would certainly recommend this to friends.

GSI is my 'Go to' manufacturer for outdoors kitchen kit. All products are well-made and superbly designed and this kit is no exception.Unlike some other reviewers, I've had no problem fitting the lids to the bowls but then again, I wouldn't put plastic crockery in the dishwasher.This is a great set for our small family of three. It's nice to have a spare of each to help with cooking and the 2-in-1 design of the drinking vessels that give you a glass and cup in one is an inspired feature.This set also packs down to a very compact size, which is important to us as we are always looking to avoid having the car rammed to the roof with kit when camping.Top product!

Very good, pack down nicely but be careful using the dishwasher as it seems to have warped the really useful lids on the bowls.
