Exactly what the Dr. ordered
Had a very nice Air Compressor given to me by a neighbor. After hearing about all of the parts that were replaced, and STILL having some issues with it he decided to give up on it. Naturally I accepted to be the new owner. One, very simple, easy to install part later, I have a working, very functional, very nice Air Compressor that is flawless. Shout to Amazon to seem to always have what I need in a pinch AND another shout out to YouTube. I can only imagine the amount of items thrown away, given away, destroyed, etc. before YouTube DIY videos rolled out.

Exact replacement, fix for a common problem.
This valve worked great on my DeVilbiss compressor. After running, the compressor would bleed off air from the unloader valve attached to the pressure switch. The problem (a common one with many compressors and easily overlooked) turned out to be a corroded check valve on the tank, allowing pressure to escape and backfeed out where the pump (and pressure switch) connect. This replacement was identical to the OEM unit, had thread sealant on it and fit exactly as the original did, which meant the hard lines hooked right back up just as they came off.

They got the part here in two days which shaved 4 days off the estimated delivery date. Excellent.

Defective
Worked first time started up. Then didn't seal at all. Took out and had little plastic pieces in it. Got those out and tried again. Sealed little better, but still leaked. Bought one from home depot instead. Was cheaper and working like a champ
