I’ve tried more red hair dyes than I care to admit — and this one truly stands out. The color is rich, bold, and gets compliments daily. Even after multiple washes it doesn’t fade like most reds I’ve used before. The application was straightforward, the shade matched my skin tone and hair base beautifully, and the result looked professionally done. My hair still feels healthy (not crispy or overly processed) and the pigment remains strong. Thank you, Schwarzkopf! Best dye that is true to color and lasts long too. Others fade fast. This one I have been using for over 3 years and it looks beautiful on me. Super great at covering grays! It is the only brand that does a black cherry and that also lasts pretty long too. My hair is naturally dark brown, so this color is exactly what I wanted to achieve and it worked! Yes I highly recommend this brand and this color, sometimes it's on sale, but regular price can run you close to $15 a box. Please keep making some more of this color, for me 😄😄😄!

This is a very dark color. I was looking for a dark color. I dyed my hair yesterday. I made the mistake of picking the wrong color. This is the black cherry. I have to say I’m not mad about it! I’ve already received a lot of compliments on it. I color my hair all the time myself with pinks, reds, purples and even oranges. This is the first time I have ever gone this dark. I was a natural blonde but as I get older that started to become mousey and of coarse I have grays. (I’m 61) Those colors washed me out now. I made the mistake with the last color to dye with an ask brown color and then the dark color and it didn’t stay because my hair had already been saturated leaving no space for the new color to absorb into the strands. That washed out very quickly. I’m really hoping this lasts for me. I haven’t washed it again yet. If it doesn’t last, it will probably be because of my already dyed hair and then I will bleach it and try again. I won’t blame the dye. So far I am happy with the brand which I have used in the past but I’m not someone who is loyal to just a brand. I try all of them. My hair feels very soft! It smells great! My husband even told me I smelled good. I think he thought I had perfume on. LOL! I say buy it. Try it. Make sure you’ve left enough time from the last dye job to let the color to saturate your hair. I am not a stylist. I do not have a license. I’m just someone getting older who wants to have fun with her hair while she has it and feel younger and pretty. Changing up my hair makes me feel good. Plus it’s fun! It’s just hair. It can be changed. It can also be lost in life. Enjoy it while you have it! Just give it a little love with some TLC hair conditioners here and there. The after conditioner provided with this brand is wonderful! I wish they sold it separately! My pics are in bright light and regular light. Very dark in lower light. Bright in bright light.

The color is beautiful! The pics do not do it justice. Easy to mix and use. I left it on for mins for all over color. (Use rubbing alcohol if you get it on your skin) One bottle coved all my hair, and it's to the middle of my back. It dries a bit while processing. It took a good 15 minutes of rinsing to remove the color, and it still didn't run completely clear, slight orange still rinses out. (But red color always does that on me) No chemical smell at all, it doesn't sting or irritate my scalp. The after color conditioner is amazing. I used the entire tube and let sit for 5 minutes. My hair shined, and smelled so good!!! I have a perm, the color didn't damage my hair. MOST IMPORTANTLY IT COVERS GRAY HAIR 100%!!!! This is the ONLY color I've used that actually works!! I just used it, so I can't speak to how long it stays bright and shiny. This is my new hair color. It works and it works GREAT!! The color choices are awesome, their not all the dull boring colors... UPDATE So it’s been 5 weeks since I colored my hair. The color still looks vibrant and shiny. My grays are growing back in, so I’m going to use just on my roots this time. Still happy with this product. I won’t use anything but this brand.

So....I thought that this would work, as it's darker than the brown that my hair was previously colored. I have strong gray regrowth as well, and it was a few inches long, as I was waiting between colorings to let my hair detox a bit. My hair is in great condition, thick, about shoulder length. There was enough in the bottle that I had about a quarter left over. I'd recommend two bottles for longer hair. My hair brushes the tops of my shoulders and doesn't go past. My hair was brown, and I had two bleached 'chunks' in the front, one on the top layers of my hair, one as peekaboo under the top layer. They were pretty wide. I was going for a two-tone, but one that I could wear to the office. This color is a pretty brown, smoky purple on the bleached areas. Otherwise, there's only a faint sheen/no deposit at all on my brown hair. As far as gray coverage? I did the full thirty minutes and started on my roots, so that color was on my roots for a bit longer than the length. And I can't say that it covered my grays well enough that I'd use this color again. I might, just to see if it does better next time or has better coverage on the older gray strands as it layers, but I'm not sure. My 'grays' are light silver and this couldn't entirely cover them. There's obvious less deposit on the silver strands verses the browns. The good news is that because I have more gray than brown coming in, the coverage looks pretty uniform. It's just not what I wanted. On my roots, it's a nice, smoky brown, with some lighter streaks where the gray is. On my bleached areas, it's the box color and looks really pretty. Over the existing brown dye, there's pretty much nothing that's changed. So, if you've colored your hair darker, do a prebleach. You don't need to do a harsh one or to do it for long. Just lift your hair to a lighter brown/darker copper, and this should work fine on it. Don't forget to wait a couple of days between bleaching and dying and to moisturize the crap out of your hair. I recommend Perfect Hair Day for colored hair. It's extremely nourishing and worth the price to have silky soft hair after bleaching.

This is my go too when I can't get to the store to get my other one but it's the closest and it holds up if you use ion coloring magenta conditioner mask with it my color last for a few months and I was my hair every day . My hairs a dark brown so for my hair being so dark it comes out great and for 2boxes it's 20 bucks which is great . I definitely recommend this but do a conditining treatment after because it does dry it a bit but so pretty

Ordered this after seeing the reviews, definitely did not disappoint! Obsessed with the color and how it did on my hair! Its so soft and smells soooooo amazing! Definitely will order again!
