It has a convex edge, i.e., not a fixed angle. Sometimes called an apple seed edge. This is a very strong edge. Suggest that you mark the edge with a sharpie and then run your angle settings to see where it rides on the mark. The distance the shinny pass is from the factory edge will tell you how effort it will take to pull that angle down to the edge. For best results, remember to strop after the sharpening. The small belt type of sharpeners do a passible job when you can use an area away from the platen where the belt can flex a little to result in a concave edge. Then strop the edge.
