Perfect fit
I ordered the Type 1 and Type 2 cups to give myself the option to attach my sling on either side of the stock. Easy to install and sits flush on my Magpul X22 Hunter. Recommend if you’re looking for QD options.

Worked as expected
It was very easy to install. I read several reviews where someone said that the bolts and nuts did not match. I used a 1/8 T handle Allen wrench and a 5/16 socket with 1/4 inch drive and it installed in about 30 seconds. You will need a small drive socket to be able to fit into the recess in the stock in order to hold the nuts steady where are you tighten with the Allen wrench. The T handle gave a nice length which easily fit into the bolt once it was placed inside the socket. I installed the type one QD sockets on my 10/22 backpacker stock. I think this product is more expensive than it should be which is why I only get it 4 STARS overall. But what else are you going to do when the stock comes without the sockets already installed. I would have to buy these again for any other Magpul stocks which I purchase in the future

Works on MOE carbine stock with a slight catch
Magpul makes really good stock but like many I cheap out and got the standard MOE stock so when I started using QD sockets on my slings I started to regret not spending a bit more on the CTR version that already have a QD socket build in. I was looking around for retrofitting solution and found this.It didn't said specifically that it will work on MOE stock but for $15 I decided to take a gamble and turns out it works, you do have to jam it in a bit but in the end it works. Now I have a QD socket on my MOE stock.If you want to add QD socket on your MOE stock yes this will work, you do have to jam it in a little bit though.

Direct fit for magpul MOE stock QD
Bought an AK with a magpul MOE stock installed, didn’t realize until I wanted to attach a sling it was missing the QD adapter. Without it the QD hole is too big for a QD sling swivel. Added this piece and the swivel locked right into it. I bought the magpul brand to ensure it would work so not totally surprised but also wasn’t sure if it’s what I needed being that it was my first time dealing with it.
