I use this daily with a regimen of other supps for my type 2 diabetes (NO Metformin for me!!! ugh!) My other main supps are Berberine by NOW with MTC oil, Tri-Sugar and Alpha Lipoic, American Ginseng, Ortho-greens, etc. The combination stabilizes my sugar and my eyesight.

My liver numbers were elevated and my doctor advised that I try Milk Thistle. Bought and took these for 3 months and had my numbers run again and everything was perfect!!

Inexpensive, good supplement.

This brand works well at keeping my allergic reactions from needing medical intervention. I've always been a person that mosquitoes love to bite. Somehow, milk thistle helps to keep my skin reactions from getting horrible, i.e. needing prednisone or prescription drugs. I ran out of this and suddenly I had an itchy rash on my foot. Two days after re-starting milk thistle, the itchiness was gone! The rash was gone after four days. I couldn't be happier about how important taking this is for my overall health. I am 55.

Small cap easy to take!!

I was glad when it was not out of stock. I purchased it eleven times. But as I see it today, the price more than doubled. Still, the quality is good.

I've been using it for some time and I can say that I feel good.

I loved them and they helped me by taking one a day for 60 days. I ran out and ordered another bottle . They were delivered a couple of days later and so I took one capsule and I went to the washroom and looked in the mirror and my face was all swollen, bright red and my lips are big but not that big. As time went on I was covered in a rash all over my body. If I were to take another capsule it could kill me. So they tasted different, smelled different and gave me a huge allergic reaction. I bought them again as I thought they’d be the same but they obviously they are not made the same.. They tasted and smelled mouldy. . It’s such a hassle to have to send things back as I was in a car accident and it’s hard to get around right now so there goes another $30 plus dollars. I’m so discouraged as I have a bad liver and they helped me now I’m scared to buy any brand of Milk Thistle again! This has been resolved by Customer Service. Thank you Amazon !

A perfect addition to the supplement program for people who don’t like swallowing big capsules. After several weeks of daily use, adverse effects have been noticed. Functional medicine teaches that in our highly toxic environments, considering all sources of daily attacks on liver function, most people should benefit from daily liver support. To avoid the complication of “expensive urine”, we take it with food, an hour before or after consuming coffee or tea. One capsule per day works for me. My imbibing, coffee-&-medication-using spouse needs more Silymarin, and so he adds a second dose of another milk thistle brand in gelcap form.

The pill size makes it easy to swallow, with no after taste. I just started the treatment with the product so it,s too early to rate the effectiveness.
