Work good
Only complaint I have is the metal starts to rust after while even sitting in my tool box.Not sure if some sort of coating could be used. But I clean them off an spray some WD and keep going.

Just what I needed
These are just what I needed to remove the plastic panel covering the radiator in my '09 Silverado. The push clips are recessed into the panel and make it somewhat difficult to remove the clips with a screwdriver or trim tool without risk of damaging the clip. I have plenty of different varieties of trim tools but nothing like these. After I removed the panel, struggling with one of my trim tools, I wondered if a tool like this was even available and lo and behold I found this on Amazon and I had to have it. Once I got it I tried it on the clips and it worked great! Far easier than a screwdriver and the trim tools I have. Having the right tools makes life so much better!

Meh
1st time using them the edge of the pliers actually chipped off. They still more or less work but its not cool to have to file the tool in order to make them work again.

A Must Have
The narrow tip is a must for recessed push pins!! If you own a vehicle with these pins the pliers are mandatory to keep from destroying them

It's ok
These are cheap pliers. They will do the job, but! The jaws do not align correctly, so they fixed it by grinding them . One is jaw is fatter than the other. Also, they close tight. If you are removing a high quality OEM fitting, it works. If it is a low quality cheap fitting, they will cut the head off if not used with a genital touch.

Really nice but expected more..
Very nice pliers! They are well constructed and work perfectly for removing push pin fasteners. So why four stars? When I buy a new tool (money permitting) I try to buy American made products to help support our local economy. However with that being said I'm also accustomed to getting a superior product with the extra investment and that is not the case with these pliers. Harbor Freight sells a pair that look visually identical to the Wilmar / Performance Tool versions and is of equal quality in every way to the Lisle product and for less than half the price. In my opinion they actually have a more comfortable handle design and have a far smoother action out the box. Again I don't in any way regret the purchase for the reasons I have stated. But for potential buyers who don't care anything about that and just want to purchase a quality tool to get the job done at the lowest price do yourself a favor and check out the Harbor Freight pair first...

Clip pliers
Still have to pry push pin out a little to grab it with pliers. Advantage of using plies is you can reuse the push pin most of the time.

Better than expected
Works better than I expected! I always just used a small screwdriver to remove push pin clips before and always found myself breaking them and taking a bunch of time wrestling them out. This tool does a much better job removing the clips intact and quickly!

you have to get these
I got tired of ruining the locking push pins on my ATV. using a screwdriver. These are much gentler on the pins and make pulling them out much easier.
