Cute!
13" from top to bottom. The image makes it look a lot longer than it really is. I wondered about that when reading the description. The body actually is square not rectangular looking, which fine. I am very happy with this item. Very soft, nice stitching, and actually smells nice (NO factor or chemical smell). Our 18 month old is going through a sleep regression and is clingy at bedtime. We are hoping this will help him want to lie down more easily again.

Soft and quiet little lovey blanket
Our 4 month old loves this. He likes to finger and chomp on the knotted corners of this very soft little lovey. It's not a crinkley or a noisy lovey.

Doesn’t crinkle
I was so excited when my newborn showed interest in crinkle sounds. He LOVES it and I love Gund, so obviously the crinkle tinkle bird was in my cart asap. Well, apparently tinkle crinkle is the product line and has nothing to do with the item crinkling. It’s legit just a soft blankie with a bird head. No noise. Pretty ticked off but that’s my own bad for not properly researching. Just rename the product Gund and you’ll have less poor reviews! Better yet, make the dang thing crinkly and call me!
