The item was well built and sturdy and would have mounted to my bracket but unfortunately my monitor dis not support the adapter

Ignored other reviews and turns out they were right: this adapter is too flimsy and can't really hold the monitor. It is just a matter of time when it will snap.

WOW, this thing sucks. Does it work ... barely and it's very flimsy in its hold on the monitor. The HP 32" monitors are heavy and this mount only holds it up from the bottom of the monitor where the base mount comes in. I thought it would connect to the 1 screw position in the back of the monitor from the pictures, but NO that is a separate long screw with a plastic stop that you tighten against the monitor so it doesn't move "toooo" much. It still moves a lot. The monitor is so heavy it wants to fall forward. I had to get my Monitor mount to tilt backward to even get the Monitor to be somewhat flat towards me.Look for another mount that actually securely attaches to the back of the montor.

It hasn't broken! it does scare me from time to time, when things are bouncing on things. But like I said, it hasn't broken yet. I would recommend to the manufacturer to increase its thickness in its entirety! I'm not sure If I would recommend it, but its all I could find, so far so good! If something happens I'll mention it. but we shall see....Update, still hasn't broken yet!, Still seems flimsy, I've bumped my monitors a few times (22lb monitors). Still good!

HP Spectre 32. Attached to the back of the my monitor attached to stand and watched the monitor bend the Vivo bracket and almost topple the stand. Not recommended for this specific HP model.

This fits the HP 32in Pavilion monitor with the wide stand perfectly. Just make sure you have a monitor arm that can actually bear the weight of a monitor that big.

I liked that this adapter was specifically for my HP Pavilion 32" monitor. It is a single piece adapter, attaches quite easily. No fuss, no muss. What it doesn't do is keep the monitor upright. Once I attached the plate to my monitor arm, the monitor kept falling forward. I tried to over compensate by tilting the mount backwards so when the monitor did fall forward, it would stop in a reasonably vertical position. I even tried supergluing the rubber screw stop to the back of my monitor. Both efforts were just an exercise in futility. I've had to resort to wedging the monitor between my other two monitors so they are slightly in front of and overlapping the bezel on both sides. This is working for now.I am looking for a different VESA adapter for monitors without a VESA mount.The adapter needs a piece that attaches to the top of the adapter and will clamp to the top of the monitor. Maybe I can get one of my metal working friends to craft something.I do not recommend this product.

I can't even use this!! It's not stable at all!! My monitor will just tip one way or other because this has zero stability, the metal bends. If I could give this no stars I would. 0/10
