Hilarious
This book is super hilarious because of how bax fluxed into a stone after marigold accidentally shrank him and then when marigold tried to big him up she shrank him again so then he was a piece of sand, it may seem dangerous but it is also funny to me, probrably because I am nine. Also I realy want a dregg, wich if you do not know is a dragon egg that when you squise it it farts and opens up to show a dragon that if you play and show attention to will learn to do tricks.Alllllsooooooo I love how Marigold showed bravery by letting herself get the ten shots to make herself big first so that she would be able to big every body else up with out getting the ten shots though they still needed to dri nk eighteen cups of coconut juice.

Brilliantly crafted lessons about friendship, and about being unique
My 8 year-old (second grade) granddaughter really enjoys reading this series! This book is her favorite (so far). The main characters are young students who have been regarded as misfits within the world of magic. Together, they learn to appreciate and embrace individual differences, as they form new and unexpected friendships.

Great book for every kids who sometimes feels out of place or off her game
Such a great series about acceptance of yourself and discovering your potential...and not underestimating others. My Autistic granddaughter loves and lives this story daily. She feels a bit wonky at times but bless her, she is finding ways to celebrate her talents and bloom. What great lessons couched in a super fun and funny story. Can't wait for the next book!

Inclusive theme
Great series for 3rd-6th grades. My grandson and I read the entire series together. Storyline and variety of characters emphasize inclusiveness and kindness to others...but not in and over-the-top preaching way.

"Amazing!"
From a 10 year olds perspective"I think it's interesting because I like fantasy and powers and animals. I have read all the books in the series so far and I thinks it's just as great as the others books!"

Great book.
Bought this for my 3rd grader and she loves it. She has read the other books in this series and they seem to be a big hit with the other kids in her class too. I do recommend this book series.
