This is the first Force Effects lightsaber I bought. The item came in 3 days ahead of schedule and the box was a little beat up. When I opened the box with the lightsaber it was was not damaged in anyway and everything was in the box.ProsThis light saber is a lot lighter than what you think it is. I had no issue with taking the blade cap off and getting everything to work. Pretty straight forward setup. The glow of the blade is bright and the sound effects are nice. This may very per person but I really like the design and the grip of this lightsaber. A lot of people don't like the grip because of the three metal claws that are on the sides. I didn't find any issue with them and the grip when I held it.ConsAs nice as this lightsaber is, there are some cons. I would have liked the blade to be a little brighter than it is. I would have also liked the speaker to have been much louder than it is as well. If you are waving this around it can be kind of hard to hear at times.

The lightsaber itself is amazing. Great quality, everything works as intended and it looks amazing. BUT I did get a few scaresThe batteries included didn't seem to work at first.The lightsaber looked "glitchy" or "clicked" when it was turned on and it turned off by itself. HOWEVER, this was because you're supposed to "turn" the blade part once it's inside to "lock" it in.The box looks a bit beat up, it was a bit disappointing to be honest, but it might be because of the transportation. Still, it's not broken or torn so I can let it slip.All in all, great product!

Ok guys for those who might be wondering here is my review.First off i have been waiting about 1 month for this piece of junk to be delivered.Second, i have been so excited for this lightsaber because Darth Revan has been an all time favorite since KOTORAnd third, when i finally received my lightsaber it was already defective and every piece of this is cheaply made, especially the lightsaber and you'll see in the video that i also postedI posted a video of what was wrong. First off the lighrsaber wouldn't turn on, i was troubleshooting it and figured it was the batteries. Now that i replaced the batteries the lightsaber made a really short noise. I was confused since the blade wouldn't turn on. I decided to put pressure on the top and basically sandwich it (as you see that i push it against the floor) and baam the thing turns on. Once i relieved the pressure the lightsaber turns off. So i already knew that the connection to the hilt and lightsaber wasn't working properly. Now that i can't do anything about it im returning this garbage. Please guys wait till they fix and the problems and don't buy until like 3 months pass by or something.

I was a bit hesitant to pick this one up, having read numerous bad reviews. But it's Revan so I figured I'd take the chance. I'm glad I did. The key here is that the new Black Series are like the Legacy sabers available at Galaxy's Edge, in that have to push the blade down and turn it to lock it in place. Most of the issues mentioned in the negative reviews are fixed by doing so.Overall, this is a great saber. The new effects (blaster deflect, door cutting) are really nice, and I really appreciate the color change effect. One can be Jedi Revan or Sith Revan, depending on your mood. I love the kyber crystal, as well.Overall, ignore the haters who didn't read the instructions. This is a very nice saber, and a MUST for KOTOR fans.

Best lightsaber I have ever gotten. It comes with a separate kyber crystal that could be installed in place of saber light. Very durable as we have lightly had a mock dual and did not break as easily as the older models did. Still do not recommend a real saber battle as instructions tell you not to. Loads of fun and so excited it changes from Jedi to Sith colors. Love it.

Blade does not stay on when you try to move it around even a little bit very loose, not impressed being an fx elite saber and pretty expensive. Edit: It does stay, instructions are terrible but you just have to push and twist the blade in to lock it in place
