This was the fix and I'm SO glad we got it. It's large enough for 4 people to sit at the table comfortably and it tilts so that you can follow the sun and sit in the shade comfortably. I wasn't sure if this would be a good idea since the set came with a smaller umbrella- I felt like the upgrade might be a waste of money. That fear has been definitely been put to rest. With summer coming the investment is more than worth it.

This umbrella is pretty good. Easy to assemble and setup. I was afraid it wouldn't tilt easily since it is big but I was wrong. It tilts with no issue. It doesn't come with a base so make sure to buy one if you are getting it

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Overall good quality with thick fabric and enforced ridge pockets, ribs look solid and pole is metal comes with extension rod, heavy enough to stick in drop-in base that I have, tilt function with easy operation, crank to open worked good, has velcro strap for its closed. Nice shade!

This was just what I needed. My old patio umbrella broke and this was a great replacement. It is nine feet across and the crank works really smoothly to take it up and down. Very easy to put together also. I would buy again.

Great, color is darker than expected...bought navy but almost looks black. This can make it rather warm to sit under.

Couldn't afford one if the more expensive umbrellas but didn't want to waste money on a smaller, cheaper, more flimsy option. Shipped fast in only 2 pieces, snapped together in seconds. EXTREMELY STURDY, nicely designed with vents and 8 thick ribs with extra supports, not just 6 or thinner ones. Will see about long-term durability and will definitely spray with Scotchgard (that's just standard for me.) Very affordable, especially for being a 9' versus 8' version. So far extremely happy.

I've purchased countless umbrellas for my patio table on our deck over the years and I can honestly say I don't believe I've ever seen one more sturdy than this one. It was super easy to assemble and it cranks up and retracts easily. I love that it's large enough to really shade our family of four from the harsh sunshine and after nearly a month, it's holding up very well. We purchased the tan color so I can't say if it's faded much, if at all. I'm very happy with this purchase and would buy another if I needed one. I think this one's going to outlast the others I've had in the past. Buy with confidence if you are looking for a simple, large and sturdy patio umbrella with a solid pole and crank system.

This umbrella is just what I was looking for. I had a patio table already prepped with a hole and this slots in great. Easy to put together and the winch mechanism seems plenty sturdy.
