I'm not normally one for writing reviews however when I come across a product that does 'what it says on the tin' then its worth sharing as I know I would have found it valuable (and indeed did to purchase this in the first place). The tub comes with an easy explanation, apply teak clean, scrub, wash off and dry. Then apply brightener with a lint free cloth, leave for 10 mins and wash off and dry. Apply teak oil 2-3 coats. My teak furniture is some 3 years old and had got to a position where it had silvered but also had the fungus which felt rough to the touch. Some might like the state but it looks 'weathered' rather than nicely aged which is why I searched to see what options were available to make it right. You can see from the photos an example of one piece of furniture in its current state, one having had the teak cleaner applied, another with the brightener and then another with one application of oil and the last with a 2nd. The table has had 2 applications of oil to the top 12 hours ago. You do need to apply some 'elbow grease' to scrubbing the teak (not too hard or you'll score the wood) with an immediate result of a smooth to touch finish (I could probably have done with a light sand to take the stubborn roughness but the size of the job (extended table, 10 chairs, 2 recliners and a coffee table) I just couldn't see myself doing it! Not really sure on the benefit of the brightener, though perhaps it helps to kill off the last of the fungus perhaps? End result I am already very happy with the results! Once the 2nd application of teak oil calms down then it will look as beautiful almost as when I purchased it all. Very impressed by the results, a good combination of quality products. Follow the instructions, cleaner and the excellent brush make easy work of cleaning the wood with a light sanding before using the teak brightner brings out a nice natural colour. The teak oil, which I believe is a mix of boiled linseed oil and tung oil gives an excellent finish. As to durability, can't comment yet, the finished table has had 3 coats and the chair just one coat of teak oil with photos taken a few days after oiling. I have 6 more chairs to go an have ordered extra bottle of teak oil.

I bought this for use on a teak memorial bench. It had been outside for 18 months and needed some love. The set is very easy to use and the benefit of cleaning becomes clear. The photos are before, after cleaning and brightening, and after 4 coats of oil. There is enough of each bottle to undertake at least one more of each process. Four stars as the end look isn’t quite as impressive as the packaging suggests, and the price is high.

I was quite pecimistic that anything would work on our 15 year old garden furniture (that has never been cleaned or treated) but I'm so happy with the results. I was a bit put off by the price initially but I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is enough product to repeat the process five times. The end result is so good so I think it's actually really good value for money. The instructions are clear and everything you need is included. Everything arrives in a container which I used as a bucket. It did take an entire day, a lot of elbow grease and it is a bit messy but that was probably due to the fact that our furniture was in a pretty bad way. It was only in the final stage that I started to see it had worked so you do need to be patient with it. I don't normally write reviews but I am so happy with this product and the end result that I wanted to leave some feedback.

This came in a useful bucket- which is just as well as all three bottles were upside down and had leaked all over the contents making it difficult to read the enclosed instructions not to mention the oily mess. A few simple pieces of padding would have kept them immobilised Otherwise the product was satisfactory with the addition of some good elbow grease.

I purchased this kit in order to restore some external teak on my boat. Exposed to the elements the wood had become grey as is to be expected but was also becoming brittle. I was looking for a treatment to restore some colour and also protect the wood to extend its life. The kit is brilliant and contains everything you need including gloves, cloths and a very sturdy hand brush. My wife did a great job of first prepping with the cleaner liquid, using the brightener and finally applying two coats of oil. The results are beyond what we expected and we are both extremely pleased with the result and the product. Highly recommend the kit and our advice is to not scrimp on your time with the cleaning products - this made a huge difference even before oiling.

Does what it says on the tin! Although it does take a while and you do need to follow all the steps and give it a good scrub at first but it is worth it ! We bought an expensive second hand table and chairs that had been neglected and got it at a very cheap price. Used this furniture restoration kit and transformed it. To note I did buy an extra bottle of brighter and the larger tub of teak oil (figured this needs doing every year so will need it anyway)

These three chairs came out of a collapsed shed, so they were in really bad condition. My partner even doubted they could be saved, but I bought the kit and found it performs really well. From the photos you can see the before, during and final result. The kit comes well packaged with easy instructions. the ONLY reason I am giving it 4 instead of 5, is that we couldn't open the teak oil bottle for the life of us. The top had been wedged on so tightly that the child safe lock apparatus just didn't work - it took pliers, a screw driver and 15 minutes of my partner swearing at an inanimate object before we finally got into the thing! But aside from that, as long as you are prepared to work at the cleaning (the scrubbing brush that comes with the kit was excellent) then you should expect great results.
