Look at the muck!
Fitted five days ago and I was amazed at how much magnetite it had collected, along with sludge in the cup. Easy to clean once fitted. The filter was bought to clean up our underfloor system and it seems to be doing the job well so far and in such a short space of time.If there is a downside it would be contacting Adey customer support with a question and not getting a response.

Fantastic bit of kit!
It does what it says on the tin. My system, although only two years old and power flushed has already managed to reveal the muck that survives in the central heating environment. The Magnaclean is so easy to use, although unless you are an accomplished pipe fitter I would advise that you have it fitted as joints need to be soldered onto the pipework. I would recommend this product as I can see the benefits of more efficient heating and less stress on the boiler.

Good to start with...
Works well as a filter. However, sadly the product ages badly. Although the 'Installation and servicing instructions' say that it has been designed to last for the lifetime of the boiler, normally 10 years, it turns out that Adey, the manufacturer, DON'T consider their isolation valves to count as part of that. They count them as 'consumables', requiring servicing. Both of mine started leaking after 4 years, necessitating the purchase of two new washers, and an engineer visit to re-install the Twintech.
