Good everyday watch. UPDATE : Replacement battery information uses SR626SW cell.
Good everyday watch. Had it for two years now. Battery finally ran out. Will post update on battery type needed as it is not listed in product information. Previous posts by others that the battery can not be replaced are inaccurate. The poster of that review did not inspect their watch closely enough. There is a slot in the back for a watch opening tool to fit in and pry the back off. A small knife blade or fine screwdriver tip might do also if you lack such a tool.UPDATE:Went and removed the snap on back using a small, fine, flat screwdriver blade. There is a miniscule notch for just such an operation. The watch takes a SR626SW replacement battery which is available at Amazon for a reasonable price. An earlier post by another reviewer stating that the battery is not replaceable and that the back can not be removed is inaccurate. They obviously did not perform a close inspection of the case back. Just FYI.

Amazon Essentials Men's Easy to Read Strap Watch
Excellent watch at this price point. Don't expect a Rolex for sure. A bit twitchy to set but be patient. You'll get it. Does not compensate for 30/31 day months. You have to make that change. At this price point what do ya expect? A different review says it's a throw away watch because you can't change the battery. NOT SO!!! The back pops off and there ya go. I don't know specifically what battery it takes but it's button type and will be quite common. The watch gets a passing grade overall.

Good n Cheap
Use CaseI needed a watch for job interviews. Nothing too elegant but a step above my gshock. There is nothing like walking into an interview with attire that doesn't match the image you are trying to present. I didn't believe this was relevant until lately when I saw it in the expression of my interviewer as I walked into to the room. My overall impression is employers want all of you looking professional and that includes the watch you wear.ReviewA professional looking watch doesn't have to be expensive, it just needs to convey the style you are trying to emulate. This chronograph is just that, it has a large face and comes in a variety of classic color sets. The numbers are large and clearly show the time. The watch is water resistant though you won't want to get the band wet as there are several reviews complaining that it wears out quickly. Overall the watch is a good wear for short intervals where classic looks are expected but the user doesn't want to bring an expensive watch or they do not regularly wear a watch.SummaryFor a classic looking time piece that can be worn to special occasions or job interviews this is a inexpensive option that is fit for purpose and with limited use could be a good investment. Sometimes style is more about fitting in than how expensive the item was.

Takes a Licking and Keeps on Ticking.
Are you an old schooler that has to wear a watch even while working with your hands and the watch can get damagedFor the price you can not beat this watch. My first one took a beating until it's battery died. I may replace the battery but until then I bought another one. I think with battery replacements that before this watch dies the band will break.

Basic and very functional
For any man who just wants accurate time or to know what day of the month it is, this is a great choice. The face is very easy to read even for us old dudes who don't have great eyesight any longer. Accuracy is spot on after a couple of weeks of ownership. I have a nice phone as a portable computer so I don't care about having a computerized watch. The strap is satisfactory and I've found that it's best to wear the watch with it's face toward the lower side of my wrist as it had a tendency to shift that direction when not tight. This works better for me. This watch is a very good choice for anyone who is practical by nature.

Difficult to set
Getting the time set is challenging. The hour and minute hands are very twitchy. The second hand doesn't land on the time points as one might expect. The day thing is questionable as it shows days but not months so it can't account for any month that doesn't end in 31. I think I may have figured out how to get it to mostly keep time by noting that the minute hand needs to be slightly behind the 12 position because the second hand skips it by about 4 seconds. Then when you push the crown all the way in there is a bit of a jump. Basically play with a bit to see what quirks it has but after you figure out that so far it has been keeping time better than I thought. Other than that it is comfortable to wear and is easy to ready.
