Nice size rock
Nice selection of lava rock! I would buy it again. The color is nice and it heats well. We use it for our firepit.

How can you not like a box of rocks?
They look like lava rocks and I am hoping they function like lava rocks in my firepit. Will let you know.

Nice product but need to dry out
These work well in outdoor gas fire pit. Yeah they come pretty wet and need to dry out, sometimes with a pop. But no worse than a wood fire is our experience.

I liked the reddish blend of stone
This product was great for indoor propane gas fireplace. I liked the different size stone. 1/2 inch to 2 inch mix . Average size fireplace and with one layer was enough. I also had some stone left over

Rocks that rock
Bought this for my fire pit and it's exactly what I wanted ... a rustic look rather than polished stones. I liked the warning about popping during first time use. We used it immediately with none of the popping, but happy to have been warned. There are all different sized stones, larger ones can be easily broken smaller. I had more than I needed for the pit so I used the leftover in the bottom of my planter for drainage.

Okay but.....
The color of these rocks perfectly match the rocks already in my fire pit. The issue is most of them are crumbled, tiny pieces with very few larger sizes. Fortunately, we were only looking to fill in the rocks already in the pit so it's not a critical issue. I would have been greatly disapointed if we were the only rocks we were using. The would have barely covered the base of the pit area.If we decide to replace the current rocks at some point, I will got to a retail store to ensure I'm getting the size advertized.
