Heartland Store Hail Mary Prayer Sterling Silver Pendant + USA Made + Chain Choice

I have to agree with those who were just bowled over by the beauty of this medal. I love the look of it, I love the feel of it and the weight of it. I also love the size of it. I had begun to think maybe it would be bigger than what I wanted. I know they give dimensions, but it's still hard for me to get a picture in my mind of what a piece will be like, when I can't see it in person and hold it and feel it. I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened the box, to see the perfect size and the most beautiful medal. I also like that it has the Hail Mary prayer on the back. I came to Catholicism late in life and recently. One of the ways I'm celebrating this is choosing for myself "the ultimate Catholic medal," one that is everything I could want in a religious medal. So I had very high hopes when I chose this medal, and it did not disappoint at all. I also am of the opinion that it is much prettier in person than in the pictures. Additionally, I'd like to add that it was also an added nice thing that it was made in the USA.I'm somewhat less happy with the chain. I did put out for the silver and it's a pretty nice chain. But it seems to be rather heavy and chunky and masculine looking for this beautiful medal, which is not overly large and is decoratively and rather femininely edged. The medal and the chain don't seem to go together well. I am keeping the chain for a couple of other chunkier, heavier pieces and am using my own silver chain that I had and that is a little less heavy looking and more feminine looking for this medal.I love this medal and recommend it whole-heartedly. Maybe take one of the other chains and then swap it out with a different silver chain of your choice if you want silver.

Unlike the other reviewer, I think this piece is truly sterling silver. It is marked "sterling" and has the heft of a sterling medal. It has a matte silver finish, highlighted by some shinier beautiful laser cuts around the edges. I would recommend this for anyone looking for a nice Miraculous Medal to wear on a daily basis. The design is gorgeous and features a decorative edge with scrolls and a lily on the edge, which frames a lovely image of our Blessed Mother. It is a true Miraculous Medal, with the words "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee" on the front. On the back is the traditional other side of the Miraculous Medal, with a capital M with a cross and images of the hearts of Jesus and Mary. What makes it unique is it also has the text of the entire "Hail Mary" on the back, which is a nice reminder to say this prayer when you need help! I find it extremely comfortable to wear and will treasure it for many years.

I am amazed at the level detail of this miraculous medal! By far this is the most beautiful and most detailed miraculous medal I have ever owned. I also love the size of this medal, it's not too large or too small. The size of this medal is perfect for me. The medal itself is indeed sterling silver, the necklace it came on is not (I ordered the endless chain which is plated). The medal has all the correct markings for genuine sterling silver. I only mention this because someone thought the medal was not real sterling silver. I am so happy that my husband gave me my Christmas present early. I am very pleased with this breathtaking miraculous medal.

What word most expresses my thoughts on this gorgeous Mary medal? I think the word is exquisite. It is so incredibly beautiful. I cannot tell you how much I love it. It's a little over an inch in height (with bale), and 3/4 inch in width; the perfect size for me. As for the chain, well, I'm not as in love with the rhodium chain. I like that it's 24" in length; it's definitely a very well made chain with a lobster claw clasp. However, because of the thickness of the chain, I feel that it distracts from the medal itself. I'm wearing it for now, but will be purchasing a narrower silver chain, perhaps box link, to show off this beautiful medal. It's truly one of the most beautiful things I own to display my faith. You will not be disappointed.

This Miraculous Medal has the Hail Mary engraved on the back and a absolutely gorgeous Baroque design.We will cherish it always. The sterling is brilliant and well made with artistic details. We love it.

This is a gift for my mothers birthday. When I received it of course I opened it to see how it looked. This pendent is absolutely beautiful. The quality is top notch and the size is perfect.
