Wow Embossing Powder WOW Embossing Powder, 15ml, Primary Apple Red

PROS:-bright (on white or light surfaces)-very fineCONS:-doesn't hold true to color on dark surfaces-is so thin it's hard to tell it's embossed, barely raisedI bought this to use on dark blue cardstock because I needed a bright red "pop". It faded to nearly black, and no, I didn't burn it. It sticks well to the versamark, and sometimes to other ink. I have to use a fine brush to get the grains off. This isn't unusual but for some reason it's harder to work with than my Stampin' Up brands and it's not as thick after heating it. I'm going to continue using it because it's the only red I have, but I won't buy it again.

I love the coverage & the color is bright. I have to share a happy accident...While making my Christmas cards this year, I tried the apple red on a grey-green paper (its called moonlight fog) & what I got was not the red, but the most beautiful burgundy red that looks gorgeous on the paper. I was not expecting this. At first I thought I burnt the embossing powder. Now I want to try it on other paper colors to see what I come up with.

Good product for card making! Fine powder, allows for fine detail.

I bought this to emboss stamped words for holiday cards. It took well to the clear embossing ink, the excess shook off easily, and it melted nicely. Fine enough to emboss letters as well as images. The color is true to the image - a nice bright red.

I love how this powder melts . It is so fine that it melts easily & looks great on paper . Least thing that I like is that I wish that there was more of it in a bottle .

I love WOW embossing powders. You pay more but it is worth it. They keep surprising with a collection of colors that manages to be distinctly theirs. I especially love their metallic and multicolored varieties.

Using for this year’s Christmas cards. Love it.
